Wimping out - Please give me real life examples. I don't want to be the only one

I wimped out of taking a friendship to a relationship. Please help me feel better about myself by providing some real life examples of relationships ending due to wimping out even though both parties were keen.

Relationship could end due to:
eg wimping out of sex
wimping out of marriage
wimping out of children

But I think there's such a thing as missing other opportunities as well by not being able to move on... it's not fair to yourself or that potential person.

 

eh, shit happens. we all pass up opportunities, and (i think at least) its usually for the better
