    I'm eager for a country in which a president is checked by Congress and not allowed to abuse his power.

    This is a Constitutional issue and goes well beyond the temporary inconvenience of a President Pence
    Who would just be a lame duck anyways

    as the hildebeast said not gonna happen :)
    they might impeach trump in the house, but it will get trampled in the senate. if I was a 'rat, I would worry about my job next election......

    There will come a day when they seek reelection that is why, and in todays politics that reelection is all that seems to matter unfortunatley, gone are the days when people got in to politics to make a change/difference.

    I heard some of it on a college radio station. Republicans seem to feel that their argument that the President committed no crimes holds water. It doesn't but I get righteous every time they come on. I turned it off because it'll probably carry on that way up until the vote.

    I expect that by this evening President Trump will be impeached by the House of Representatives of the United States of America. Then business as usual will resume. Witch hunt.
