This is me, I am her and so is she. I'm 21, I live in AL, and I'm studying sociology and professional writing in school. Right now my elbow's bleeding and I should be doing homework. I'm taking a sociology course this semister entitled The Community. There were, in 1995, fifty-two different definitions of community. I find it interesting that there is no text book available for this class. I've joined Hip Forums with the curiosity of proving the validity of "online communities," how they function both inside and outside the realms of society, and their effects (if any) on society outside of the "online community." Not to say that my use of hip forums is for research purposes only, it's quite the opposite. Not only can I meet new informative interesting people who share the same values and ideals which I do, but I can get an A in school while doing so! Woo Hoo!
