Will Obama legalize the stinky green?

it would still be that way if legal. alcohol is legal, after all.

 

and if its only decriminalized, there would be no taxes!

 

They should tax it, pay for better roads and up our education. I wouldn't mind paying a petty tax if it meant noticeable benefits.

 

I think as the petrochemical industry recedes and people seriously start seeking cheaper and more local methods of producing textiles, fibers, and paper on a local level - cannabis will once again become a major domestic crop. And with that I think it will become a more integrated part of our culture and smoking it will be considered socially acceptable.

 

if it were legal it would be taxed. thats fine. if you don't want to pay taxes, dont be lazy and just grow your own instead of buying it at a store.

you don't pay taxes on homebrewed beer or homemade wine...

 

this may just be me but nothing has really changed since the government added a gst to the pst tax.... and thats an extra 8% or so to each dollar.... this leads me to think theres either some seriouse embezlement going on or the government just hordes and saves it all... but thats just my opinion....

 

Not me, I don't plan on growing my own.

I'll be catered by the industry... I can't wait for the ad campaigns

 

I know what you mean, I'll love it when one day I can go to the gas station and buy some purple kush. But I'll still grow my own just for the extra herb. Its always nice to not have to spend money on it.
