I've been smoking for a while and 2 of my friends just decided that they finally wanna try it. My question is, do u think they will get high if I teach them to inhale properly? I know people say that no one gets high their first time but isnt that just because they normally dont know how to inhale the right way?

Yeah, I remember what it was like for me, I didn't get high at all, but I thought that was just because I didnt inhale properly. So my plan is to teach my friends to inhale the right way before they smoke. Do u think it will work, or does it NEVER work the first time?
I got high as fuck my first time. I think the biggest thing is the fact that the government makes such a big deal out of it and makes it seem more intense than it actually is, so it doesn't live up to peoples' expectations and they don't notice the effects that they actually do get.
ciggs can help them to learn to inhale right. THC usually has to be either eaten after preparation or inhaled after combustion. so, if your going to be smoking, unless they inhale into the lungs, they will not get high... unless the placebo effect happens :/

idk my first time i thought u inhaled more then u actually have too... and i didnt realize u keep climaxing after u smoke... so i was rippin huge cuz i was used to smoking cigs and pot was just so smoother... and holding that shit in for good 20 seconds... smoked 2 bowls of purple haze... well actually a bowl and a half and i was so high i was litterally seeing purple fairys n shit n forgettin that i was even smoking pot and didnt know where the fuck i was... thats the highest i ever been.... i got in a fight with a tiger, i played ping pong with a fridgerator, i played with my hair for like 20 minutes then friend finally made me stop, i thought time was going by slow not me... lol so i tried to juggle forks n spoons thinking it would work cuz everything was so slow i could concentrate... and u gotta have some food... first time i ever tried food while high was like the first time i ever tried food....
I'm quite jealous of your first time. I just remember laughing a lot with my ex. It made the times good. So good I kept the weed and ditched him.
Yeah I don't know why people are always saying "you won't get high your first time," I got extremely high! My first time was so funny, I went up to this kid who I had talked to maybe twice before, I just knew he was a huge stoner. He must have been a dealer or something because he had two drawers that had bags of pot with different labels on them. I told him it was my first time and he was like "Dude, weed is the best thing that's ever happened to me" with the most serious tone and face haha. So he rolls me this really fat blunt of what he claims is the best stuff he had at the moment and looks at it for five seconds then looks at me and is like "Yeah this should get you high!" So since this kid was all the way across campus, I was walkin back with this big blunt in my pocket, and it's my first time even seeing weed, so I'm freaking out and walk back as fast as I can. I get back and I was planning on smoking it with my friend who has smoked a fair amount before, but he had a night class so I was on my own (I should mention I wasn't alone, I had a group of people with me, they just didn't want to smoke). I then went outside in the snow and walked to an old stairwell that went to the basement of our dorm (the door was welded shut like back in the 50s so nobody ever goes there) and started smoking and then one of the guys in my group decides he wants to join in and we smoke it. At first I was like "what the hell this sucks, I don't feel anything!" My other friend says he's really baked and I was really pissed! We start walking back and then all of a sudden it just hits me and I literally fell down face first in the snow! I couldn't believe what I was feeling, it felt like I was weightless, but at the same time, my shoes felt like they were made of lead. To be precise, the way I described it to my friends was that I felt like Link in Ocarina of time when he had those heavy boots on underwater hahaha. After what seemed like an hour (it was probably about 10 minutes) I went to my friend's room to play some guitar hero and I was just awful and everybody was laughing at how bad I was doing (I'm normally really good at GH). I felt like the headstock of the plastic guitar was magnetically connected to the television monitor, it was weird! Then I was like "I gotta watch my Pink Floyd DVD" so me and two of my friends start walking back to my room and I'm drinking this water bottle and feel like no matter where I pour the water, it will still find its way to my mouth. I proceed to pour the water all over my shirt and pants, and I'm confused that it wasn't in my mouth. After that, I watch Pink Floyd and take on the typical stoner role; sprawled out on my futon with a tin of homemade chocolate candies from my mom (which were delicious by the way). Oh boy what a great evening, it's weird though because after that, the next time I smoked was like a year later haha, now I smoke all the time. Anyways, to stay on topic, I would stick with your plan because my friend's first time, he didn't get high at all because he didn't inhale. I mean the way I said it to him was if he wasn't coughing on his first time, he wasn't doing it right. So I say that's a good idea to teach your friends the right way to do it the first time.

I have moments like that where I assume things will always work no matter what (like the water thing), so I sat down on a folded up chair and I couldn't figure out why the ceiling had lights on it. After a few minutes of investigation, it turns out that i'm lying on my back with my legs on the chair that's leaning against the wall.
what the guy said about people expecting a way stronger high than what weed really gives you, hes right i think so just explain to your friend that they've never been high and dont know what to expect, and that its not what everyone tells you it is. you could just give them shotguns if they cant inhale right.
