I'm beginning to think that I need never speak again, because all my words have been said so I need not repeat them.

I guess I may want to configure them to express my thoughts, but in the end, does it really matter?

Do I really care enough for you to know what I think?

Obviously at this point I do, but I'm starting to lose the need to express myself.

Perhaps I have spent too long on message boards. Someone at some point will argue my point for me, more or less, so should I even bother?

I think the internet is still a great way to communicate... look! I'm in AZ, talking to people in other countries...

Is the very fact that you're communicating to people in other countries that exciting?

But not everyone has heard what you have said. there's more people than those on message boards. what about the kids growing up? if you even had sex before with someone maybe you'll have kids to tell stories too, grandkids even. but we first gotta get you laid...I volunteer bloodynailpolish. hehe

You know, I was going to write a in depth response to this thread and throw in my opinion and all that but I just said fuck it. It's not worth it. I do this a lot. I don't think it's so much that I'm tired of communicating, it's just that I don't really give a shit about people on the Internet that I can't talk to in person.

So, in one aspect, it's really incredible that I can "talk" to anyone across the world at any time, but on the flipside, it's impersonal and has a solipsist tendency to the whole thing so....yeah fuck it.

Find someone that you enjoy talking to that challenges you. You're not going to find mental stimulation on a purple forum.

Well, you could easily find mental stimulation on a purple forum, but I think it might be the normalcy of not having to actually speak that makes communication lack depth or necessity for you... I find it interesting that people can go for long periods of time without speaking, or crave silence, as I'm such a communicator, but I think that maybe at some point, we as a species will not need to communicate verbally and will find a more comprehensive way to communicate, psychically for instance... idk

communication is dieing as we speak. increasingly, every form of cummunication is being replaced and made obselete by the technological disease that infects society.

as long as emotions don't die (your emotions in this case) words will never die.

I have thought of this before. I get more and more tired of the everyday chit chat. I also find that when people are open minded and receptive and actually care about you, they usually know what your thinking or feel. I wonder could we open our minds enough to understand each other enough to not need to speak (except for fine tuning ideas)? Sort of like a pre telepathy phase

LOL...I'm one of those that can go without speaking....:blush5: but I do have to communicate somehow.
At what point do you think this non verbal communication will come into being?

Do you think we could do this by picking up on vibes from micro expressions?
