What do you guys think of this show? I admit I like it, I enjoy watching how people run their households and seeing into their homes. Unforunately somebody always ends up crying
there's always a primal pleasure in the forbidden, seeing into the lives of others (privacy), some people like to see train-wreck moments (pain), its all comes from the need for freedom. everyone wants freedom, and total freedom at that. What is forbidden tastes sweet as it is like casting off your shackles, whether they be moral, physical, psycological, or whatever...... maybe.... .... hmmm...... ......i wonder if i got carried away for a post about you liking a tv show....
i think that, like most reality tv shows, it's never actual "reality".... the idea of the show is interesting, like, introducing a new way of day-to-day living to 2 families, though. but yeah, there are so many times in that show where it's so obvious that the families were asked to play it up for the cameras.
I'd like to see 'politician swap'. Let's make Edward Kennedy and Dick Cheney trade places and see what happens.
I think the show is hilarious. I don't particularly care for reality TV shows. In fact, I try and avoid watching them, but I thought the concept of Wife Swap was pretty good. I mean, I think as kids, we'd all like to trade our mom's in at one time or another. Through this show, maybe the kids start to appreciate their mother and get closer with their fathers. *shrugs* I don't know. I just like it.
I've never seen the show, but I understand the premise... I couldn't do it... I like sex too much... lol
Two weeks actually. The first five days is with the family's rules...the second is with the new mother's rules. Not that I know that much about it or anything... *looks around*
I could never spend two weeks with some strange family and cameras all up in my face. I think the show is so funny though.........I felt horrible for the children in that "military-esque" home on last weeks show. Their parents were fucking nuts!
OMG, I know...I felt soooo bad for them. They had a blast while their new mom was there. They actually acted like kids! And what was up with the "smacker" or whatever. I'm surprised they can't get arrested for that...
that fat mother was no better..... freedom is one thing, but a whole table full of candy and junk food for dinner? come on.... man, that whole family was grossly overweight.
