Hi all. I came out to my semi-asexual partner a few months ago. We had discussed opening our marriage when she first told me she thought she was asexual, but she realized she couldn't stand the thought of me and another woman. BUT she shocked me this week by telling me she wants me to explore my bi-curiosity with other men. The problem is that I've been with her since before dating apps were popular and the nearest LGBTQ friendly bars that I'm aware of near me are over 45 minutes away. So I guess my question is...how do I meet people?? Does anyone have any advice on how to get started? Thank you for your time and thoughts!
See a doctor or the local health clinic; tell them in unambiguous terms that you're bisexual and want to have sex with men. Get the vaccines for hepatitis and monkey pox; there might be others. Get an Rx for PrEP and Doxy PEP. Get tested to establish a baseline, then regular testing thereafter. Get a box of condoms.
I have the problem of not being a drinker. Therefore, I can't go to LGBTQ friendly bars to try and meet people. Dating sites and sites like DoublesList have all been a bust because I just get replies from "creepy people" and those that just want the quick "blow and go".
I have had good luck on the Silverdaddies site. There are chat rooms and internal massaging, opportunities to get to know guys prior to meeting them.
