I am at peace with my skin and happy within. Problem is my loving wife of many years is a nurse and says she has seen enough nude people to last a life time. I am trying to get her to go nude with me. I think she feel old and a bit saggy. I don't look at nudity as sexual.I think all women at all ages are beautiful. I need help getting my wife to open up and be nude. Any help out there. John
I was kind've in the same situation. Ive always been comfortable and my wife is comfortable at home for sure but was hesitant to be seen by anyone or outside the home aside from a close female friends so we talked about it... I mean she wasnt opposed to nudity in general or me being nude so at least I had that but lots of love and loving words and I finally got her to go to a nude beach to which now she runs free and happy haha also what helped was doing a pinup photo shoot...a gal pal of mine did one and said she was lacking confidence and all that jazz too but once she did the shoot and seen how lovely she really was and loves being clothing free so my wife did the same and clothes came off much easier now too for her and one day she did her hair and make up and took some nudes, nice ones and finally let me share one of em and it was received with so much love and support and I feel all that helps. I'm comfortable and free and she sees how friends respond to it and its not the evil she was led to believe it was, people are actually very open to the idea and find it to be refreshing and honest so its been a lovely experience all around. So Id say time and baby steps, I find once people experience the feeling of being clothing free on a beach or resort, camping or at a friends skinny dipping in a pool they love it and never want to go back to "normal" haha

She only sleeps with a light gown and no undies and ready any time for action. She has no problem around the house with nudity and does enjoy a good erotic film. We will be removing to central america soon and I hope to purchase a very private home away from the masses. Very private is the word here. I want to become a full time nudist and have some quality senior like minded friends or customers how want a clothing optional weekend.I want to be very selective and don't want a young group. No 20,30,40's I really need my wife to be accepting of her own body and comfortable with others around us. I want it to be wholesome for all how visit. Just enriching and natural. We have no kids, so this would be for "Adults Only"and one couple at a time. FYI,We are looking at a 45 acre tropical rain forest island compound with 4 miles of hiking trails and boating. Just so you know we are in our early 60's and in very good health and active.

That is my goal. Will I ever get her to relax and release her unwillingness to go nude. Maybe not, but I will be patient. Let me be clear, we do everything together and I mean everything. We are very devoted only to one another and very active intimately. Problem is, I have a bit more free spirit and I am very comfortable in my skin as a senior citizen. I want to go to a nudist function or camp/resort, but I won't go without her for fear I might be viewed as some sort of pervert. The loner man thing. I think she would go with me, but It would be better if she would remove some close. Then maybe we could meet some quality other couples.
I was in a same state of mind, though staying nude at home. In fact since my adolescence I have never put clothes. It started in my bedroom, then moving around in the house when alone, and later in presence of mom and younger sis. After marriage I was more comfortable as luckily husband was/is also a nudist. We had no problem in staying always nude at home, hotel and other "safe" place. My husband wanted to take me out without clothes, but I always resisted, not that I didn't like it but due to inhibition. He never compelled me but also never gave it up. During first summer, while we were sitting in backyard, he took of his clothes saying me to be comfortable. I took off upper clothes only. He appreciated. After a few minutes he suggested me to remove bra and pantie too. I myself wanted to, so did it. It was very sensual, exciting and relaxing. We had also sex there. It was the beginning. He had been narrating stories of nude beaches, his nudist friends and their excellent family life as well as showing pics of beaches.Once we were invited by one of his nudist friends who had arranged a clothless dinner at home. My husband suggested me to give our hosts surprise. To materialize it, as we planned, I wrapped my body with a robe, nothing underneath. Having parked car outside his house, we came out. For me it was a time of mixed sensation. I felt as if I was completely nude even though I had a robe. Before entering host's house, I took off robe too, as suggested by my husband. Entering thr room, I got a big applause. All admired my body and confidence being in nude. (I came to know later it was all planned by my husband and his nudist friends). It was my beginning to mix up with other nudists. My husband's slow movement eventually led me to visit nude beaches. I won't recommend my friend to do the same, but he can find out many ways to convince his wife (most probably she has already entered the nudist club).
I appreciate both of you as your ex was though appeared to have "strong psychological resistance" (though I believe she had not, it was just reluctance and preparing herself for the "moment"), and you deserve equal appreciation for demonstrating patience and not forcing her to jump hurriedly. We women need respect, encouragement, understanding and logical "teaching". Once we find our partner understands our reluctance and doesn't pressurize to follow his toe, we later do what he likes.
Since I was the one that started this thread,I want to thank each of you for your input.That said, my wife and I have moved to Central America. We live a very private and secluded life on a hill overlooking a bay. It is hot here and I stay nude all day, unless I am walking in the rainforest. My wife does go nude some on our porch and only wears a long t-short with no bra or panties. So, she is making progress,but I believe it is because no one is even close to us. She or I have never been around other nudist, but I would love to try. Even though she has seen plenty of naked people in her past, she is too self conscious. I do believe she would not object to others going nude around us. I do not want to push her, but sure would enjoy her nude more.
I must say she is half nudist, ready to take off her clothes soon. Instead wearing long shirt, suggest her to wear short one without bra and pantie. Walking in open while you are nude, try very politely to convince her if there in no body around us, why not to enjoy natural living. I am sure sooner she would say good-bye to short shirt.
