wierd family members

do you have any wierd family members? please share your stories, just as i am about to.

well, today i went to a party at some familys place. My dads cousin and his wife, as usual, get pretty drunk and very talkative, but today she just got really wierd. She tried to set both me and my 2nd cousin up with other family members. It wasnt so bad for me, since she wanted to set me up with one of her neices, which arent really blood relative, but she told my 28 year old 2nd cousin, her neice, that her sons are attracted to older women. Her sons are 20, 17, and for some reason, I dont think theyd appreciate her setting them up with their cousin.
and i thought I had a normal family.

I AM the weird family member...

 

Well, my whole family is pretty weird..I have 7 sets of grandparents, most of them from my mother's mother's side...my granmother's current husband is named Tom but likes to be called Cracker, and she just told my uncle that he has a differnt father than my mother.

 

everyone in my family doesnt do anything to anything. they all go to work come home and go to sleep and thats it.

My Uncle stood up at my Grandparent's fifty-fifth wedding anniversary and announced that he hasn't seen a nicer pair of tits (pointed to me) since my Mother ran off. Later, he walked into the bathroom when I was taking a shower with a video camera. The man also works in the Canadian Air Force.

My Cousin is manic-depressive AND has OCD. He also abused a lot of mind altering drugs... so a really good combo for normal healthy living. He has spent the last 4 years locked in a mental hospital, except when he broke out and went on a delusional rampage in Edmonton.. he was upset because he thought he was in Winnipeg. Lastest news is that he is telling everyone that he doesn't need his meds anymore because "Jesus cured him".

My 2 cousins are sisters. In the last 4 years they have each had 2 kids. The names of these kids are Nate, Tate, Kate and Jake. No lie. If I have a kid, I will name it Bait, just to fit in.

My dad married a woman that my mother taught Grade 4 to the year after I was born. So, there are 9 years between my step-mom and me... but 21 years between my dad and his wife.

My grandparents and for 2 more generations backwards were all 1st cousins.
My grandfather built a big boat in the basement, and after it was done he released that it was too big to fit up the stairs. It sat in the basement for 15 years.

i think thats all i've got.. off the top of my head. lol.

Well nothing that I do is really anything I consider weird...but compared to my family....yeah...I'm a freak.

 

Inbreeding... it makes you a little wacky. I am usually thought of as a little different by the outside world, but back home, I am the normal one. lol.

 

ummm... when my family first moved here they lived in a hill. probably why that whole side of hte family is ridiculously short

all my relatives on the one side are white trash. yeah, that's fun. my 17 year old cousin moved to alberta with her boyfriend (who cheats on her every damn month), hasn't finished grade 8 yet, and refuses to go on birth control.

my other cousin (on the good side, since she's my step cousin by common-law now divorced ) is freaking out because she's getting married next year, but her mom used a lot of ideas in her own wedding this summer that my cousin wanted to do. I mean FREAKING out.

All of her brothers (3) are super gamers. Only one of them realizes how it can be damaging to a relationship, the other two insist it's perfectly normal behaviour to play WOW or whatever for 12 hours at a time and not speak to their gf/wife/whoever at all in that period.

my mom's whole side of the family, except for her parents and one sister, told her she should give me up for adoption right after I was born because she would be an awful mother (at least one aunt mentioned the devil in her explanation of why I shouldn't be raised by my mom. yeah, we don't talk with them)

and I have a half brother somewhere I've never met. yay dad, way to use condoms.
