maybe you should take up gardening in the community garden, or volunteering at the local co-op, or something along those lines. it would give you more time to get to know people and get comfortable with talking to them.
community garden? where is that? Something to look foward to in the future. I have never planted this time of year, but the climate is very different here then in RI. But yes i just need to get out there and stuff. once i get a job (hopefully at townhouse pet care center) i will meet more people and junk. thank you for your support! P.S. Looks like your up around Portland. There are LOTS of community gardens up there, co-ops and time banks too.
