i have cancer rising and i am an emotional wreck because of it!! i freakin hate being over sensitive!!! my boobs are not big though, they're small but they very pert and round...guess thats a cancer rising trait? oh well at least i get something positive from my friggin pathetic rising sign!!! pert round boobs!!
hehe i am a scorp rising...i hate my nose too. i wish i was a cap risnig...all the cap risings i know are elegant looking...long necks...proud and refined...well they look like it oh well...got to live with it. but all sings can be attractive...depends on your genes not so much rising sings lol.
I have a capricorn rising which gives me a stern look on my face all of the time. I have pisces moon and my best feature is my eyes as pisces usually do.
well I dont reckon I know what the "lord" of the house is... I know I have neptune (sag) in my first house...so I guess that makes me look like a space cadet? haha Or does that mean I look like a sag. This stuff is really confusing...here is a picture of me if you wanna make your own judgements...You already know I am a sagg rising so I guess thats what Im gonna look like...we should ALL post some pictures and see if this is accurate. Your ascendant will be the sign on the left of the chart. Here are the traditional rulers: Aries = Mars Taurus = Venus Gemini = Mercury Cancer = Moon Leo = Sun Virgo = Mercury Libra = Venus Scorpio = Mars Sagittarius = Jupiter Capricorn = Saturn Aquarius = Saturn Pisces = Jupiter This is not the same as whatever planets are in that house, but they also count. So let's say that Libra is your ascendant and the Moon is in there as well. The ruler of that house will be Venus, because Venus rules Libra. This is the simple answer, of course it can get pretty complicated.
from the description I believe I look more like a sagg...but then again...I cant judge my own looks because of objectivity. But thanks for the help. I should ask like a professional person or something because researching this on my own isnt helping at all haha.
how do you know if venus is well placed? Is venus in cancer in the 8th house poorly placed? Is this rocket science? or am I just a complete moron? hmmm
Oh please... rocket scientists can't figure this stuff out. This is why having a good reading is important. Assuming Libra IS your ascendant, and Venus IS in the 8th house in Cancer, we would also have to know what degree Venus is in. If Venus is between 21 and 27 degrees, then it is dignified by term, which is pretty good. If it is 0 to 10 degrees it is dignified by face, which is a weak dignity, and I have found that this represents an insecurity or fear. In addition, Venus being in the 8th house is called an accidental debility since the 8th house is considered a relatively weak house (it's called succedant in astrological terms). Another element to look at is whether it is either conjunct, opposed, or square Saturn and Mars. This is usually considered, depending on what you are looking for, a bad placement especially if Saturn and Mars are debilitated themselves. On the other hand, if Jupiter is trine or sextile or conjunct with Venus, with Jupiter not debilitated, then this is considered a good placement. An example of a good placement for Venus would be if Venus was in either Libra or Taurus, in the 10th or 7th house, and Venus being conjunct or trine with Jupiter who is in Sagittarius or Pisces. All charts have mixtures of nice things and bad things. In my own chart, my ascendant is Sagittarius, but my Jupiter (Sag's lord) is retrograde (which I would rather it wasn't), and it's not dignified at all (called perigrine), which I would rather wasn't the case either. oh well.

There is always freewill I have a very challenging chart... 5 planets in Scorp, 2 in Taurus, Aries rising and a Sun/Neptune conjunction in Scorp in 7th...... I have constant struggle with myself.. But I am becoming very strong!!!!!
