Why you should vote for Ralph Nadar.

Well maybe not, but he's the only candidate that actually tells the truth and doesn't use other people for his advantage/political schemes.

The argument that Nader votes are Bush votes is one of the biggest, dumbest, and most illogical arguments that anybody could ever try to whine about. Nader votes don't go to Bush, they go to Nader. This is a democracy, and people can vote for whoever they want to vote; and if you have proper backing, then you could also run for whatever party backs you.

I disagree strongly...if you only had two choices to vote for, I'm betting at least 75% would go to the democrats from Naders camp.

If someone wants Bush out, get him out, don't go for the cop out third party vote....if you see them both as the same and you prefer someone like Nader, go for it

 

If Kucinich was still in this race, I'd be for him... he's probably the most openminded and straightest democrat I've heard of.

Actually, if Bush wins (god forbid) I'm REALLY intrigued by Barrak Obama. His dad was a Kenyan goat-herder--how kick-ass is that?! :H Did anyone see his speech at the DNC? I missed it, damnit.

 

Yeah... he was awesome... he was sort of unheard of before the DNC. Now he's somewhat of a household name... I remember reading a site about some of his work and his background/history... that's the great thing about America... people like that can become leaders.

 

A vote for nader is pointless and wasteful. He will never get elected into office, and he'll only steal votes from those who would originally vote for Kerry as they would view Kerry as their one and only option. Which they should now, but a lot of hippies seem to like voting for the guy who is the... oddest, so to speak. They should step aside from the hippy realm, go for the one who can beat gw, and then any other time they want, they can vote for whoever they like. It just seems so hypocritical to watch all the hippies on this site bitch about bush and everything thats going on with his administration, then vote for the guy who is least likely to kick george bush's ass out of office.

It may come as a surprise, but I don't like Kerry. At all. So I'm not going to support him just because I want Bush out of the president's job.

And I guess it's a given that I don't like Bush.

It doesn't matter who's going to get who out of the white house. I can still have my opinion, can't I? And I really do agree with a lot of Nadar's decisions. Well I guess they're not really decisions if people like you keep having a pessimistic attitude about it all.

I'm not using the cop-out. And I am NOT going to stand down and let people tell me that just because I'm young and supporting the Green Party means that my opinion doesn't matter.

If John Kerry was so perfect then this wouldn't be an issue. The people voting for Nader are either A)hippies who jumped on the bandwagon or B)are smart enough to realize that this country will be screwed with either Bush or Kerry.

 

I'm still waiting for someone to give me one reason why the country wouldn't be screwed if an independant won, not a single person has given a response.

I don't see how a person who is voting libertarian is any "smarter" than anyone else, the arguement could be made that they aren't as smart, voting for someone who won't win.
