The Hamas TV educational program, broadcast last week, taught that the murder of Jews in the Holocaust was a Zionist plot with 2 goals:

1- To eliminate "disabled and handicapped" Jews by sending them to death camps, so they would not be a burden on the future state of Israel.

and bit of freudian projection :

2- At the same time, the Holocaust served to make "the Jews seem persecuted" so they could "benefit from international sympathy."

Yes, the Iraqis are doing much the same to themselves right now. Its a good strategy that works 100% of the time.

    Well that's kinda skewed.

But there are better detailed theories that say the Holocaust did have a purpose beneficially for the Jews.

Considering most of the wealthy jews survived and thet Hitler never really believed in the " final solution " he only used it as a political weapon, it was really Adolf Eichman who went crazy and started stealing war funds to kill the Jews because he actually believed in the " final solution ".

Also, it was known that most German soldiers wanted to work at the camps rather than the eastern front which at the time many were being sent to.

Yep, without Eichman it's more likely that no more than 2 million jews would have been exterminated ( maybe even just 1 million ) and the Nazis would have had more funds and possibly won the war.

Although in reality all the Nazis had to do was win Africa, if they had, Britain would have fell and that's all she wrote.
