Why so much Hatred?

I've been on these Boards for quite a while. Years ago we used to like accept earthlings who posted hatred and shit. But now with BLM and Antifa and their ilk we started hated folk just because they had a different way of looking at stuff. This isn't the way we been taught.

Unfortunately it seems as there is more hate then love these days, its on all sides and it seems as if none sees it

 

Fascism and racism are not just a different way of looking at things. They are downright disgusting and have no equivalence with positive values of peaceful, rational people just because it's different.

Did that happen with BLM, Antifa or their ilk? Seems to me it's clearly evident in the far right for a long time: the John Birch Society in the 50s, Rush Limbaugh,Timothy McVeigh and the militia movement of the '90s, theTea Party movement funded by the Koch Brothers, the Gamergaters stirred up by Milo Yiannopoulos, Breitbart and the Alt Right bankrolled by the Mercers, the Proud Boys fascist fraternity organized by Gavin McEwan, all those Tiki torch carriers at Charlottesville, QAnon and their "ilk".. And then, of course, there's Trump, stirring hate in his daily tweets. But of course they probably weren't posting on HF (although some may be; Six Eyed Shaman, in particular seemed to hail from the "Great Replacement" wing of the "AltLite movement, and could get pretty hateful, particularly in his last post suggesting his opponents were pedophiles. I don't know what "hate" you're talking about, but comments can get heated on the Politics forum, thanks to the divisive nature of the incumbent President. Love cuts both ways.

BTW, you talk about what HF was like "years ago", but your bio says you've only been here since February of this year. Were you using a different name before, or just searching the dusty archives?
