Did my dopey mother decide to buy my siser a bloody drum kit!!!! It got delievered this morning and im going to throw the bloody thing out of the window in a minute - bang bang bang banggggggggg (and not in a good way)
My friends and I find a sick humor in buying our friends children toys that make lots of noise. Not sure when it started but man we get the biggest kick out of seeing the parents face when the kids open the package. The kids are happy and were happy, thats whats important right???
Heheheh, how old is your sister? My oldest son has been begging for a drum kit recently. He's only 6 years old though and I KNOW I'd regret getting him one. Talk about headache! Once he gets older, if he's still wanting one, then we'll see.
Well she is 19 (20 on wednesday) damn being woken up by loud banging all the time isnt fun lol - kinda amusing in some way - when its not me n all lol
That's funny. *giggles* I definitely don't think I'd want to be woken up by loud banging either. It's bad enough when I'm woke up by the offensively loud, obnoxious beep-beep-beep of the alarm clock at the butt crack of dawn.
So are you close to your sister? My sister is 18, and despite the age gap, we're very close. I mean, as kids I was more of a mother to her, and even now I tend to take on a motherly role with her, but we're more friends than anything. In fact, I'm so excited because she's home from the university for the holidays, and she and I are going out shopping tomorrow evening once my hubby gets home from work. He's going to stay with the kids so that she and I can have some "girl-time" which is something I rarely ever get to have!
awww yeah my sister is my best mate - i do nearly everything with her - we tell each other everything as well lol. Its wierd right but we both still live at home and we havea huge 3 storey house and me and her have the top floor and its like our floor - we do what we want, a bit like having our own flat lol. But i love her shes great lol
That's awesome that you have such a tight relationship with your sister. With my sister and I, in my teen years, we weren't very close. Not that it was either one of our faults. I mean, there was a big age gap for one, and secondly, our mother was involved with a man who I despised, yet she (my sister) being young and extremely trusting, just didn't see it. She looked at this man as a father, since our father wasn't exactly around much then. So that put a wedge between the two of us. Then, after our mother became involved with another man some time later, she (mom) decided she was going to up and move out of state to be with him, even though she barely knew him in the first place. Well, being that my sister was only 10 years old at the time, she went with her. This was when my husband (then boyfriend) and I moved in together. She ended up moving back about 3 months later, with my mother in tow due to yet another abusive relationship. We started to get closer then, and once she hit high school, we became closer than ever. It's been that way since. I love that girl!
aww its a shame you didnt have the relationship you did when she was a teen --- but with my sister i wouldnt change her for the world - shes my rock lol
