I understand your thinking process. I just don't agree with it nor think much of it.

 

The media has always been bias.

What's important is not that any media outlet is bias, what's important is that they report the truth.
For example any media outlet may lean to the left or right, or any other way as long as what they report is true. They may neglect certain facts or report some facts more than others, but they shouldn't lie.
A Republican outlet may report on scandals involving Democrats and ignore Republican scandals. But they can't, or shouldn't make up lies about Democrats.
And vice versa.

Same with the federal government. It should report the truth, but may withhold certain facts for the good of the nation. It may even legitimately lie to protect certain things or operations. For example in 1862 Lincoln made a secret trip to West Point, unannounced to the public. It would have been perfectly appropriate for the government to lie and report that he was in Washington even though he was traveling to West Point in order to protect him from assassins.

 

Well, you make a few accusations here so let's unpack them.

First of all so that I am not making unwarranted assumptions I need you to clarify a few things.
Just what is the MSM? Is that the mainstream media? If so I need you to tell me just what the "MSM" is.
Please provide me with a list of all members of this "MSM".
Next I need to know who on this list, if not all, reported "that the laptop was 'Russian disinformation'."
Then I need to know the specific details of the report(s).
Please use this format:
On month/day/year, XYZ news agency reporter Joe or Jane Doe reported, and I quote, " Blah, blah, blah Hunter Biden's laptop, 'Russian disinformation'" and provide a source of the quote in a link.
I need the exact quote as sometimes reports are said to be verified by some means or another, or suspected, alleged, unconfirmed, rumored, anonymous, etc. All of which effects the report.
Please provide the quotes for each member of the "MSM" on the list that you will provide me that made this "the laptop was 'Russian disinformation'" report(s).

Second, as you made three separate accusations, all of which will take considerable time to discuss in full. I'll just address the first one at present.
I already asked for the "MSM" quotes regarding "the laptop was 'Russian disinformation'." So I'll look at those when you provide them.
Right now I'd like to move onto the collusion with the FBI and DOJ charge. Which again I will assume refers to the governmental agencies that go by those acronyms.
Please provide me with proof of this collusion. That is a link to some study, investigation, court ruling, conviction, reliable source, document, email, phone call record, etc. that supports this claim you're making. Where has collusion been proven, or is it just a theory of a conspiracy to collude? That is an unproven conspiracy theory.
Then if you can prove collusion I need you to show me, prove, that this collusion was a wilful act a deception aimed at deluding the public for some nefarious reason. I need you to do this becasue we know, and you as a veteran must know, that yes the government does ask the media to withhold or hide certain information or even lie about or distort certain information for various reason such as national security or the protection of spys, government employees, nation defense, etc. That's why we have secret documents. So that let's say this "MSM" group you talk about finds out that we have developed some secret weapon, (I'm reminded of a top secret blimp that crashed near my home a few years back). If the FBI and DOJ ask the "MSM" to not report what they found out about that weapon as it may lead to the death of American or allied citizens, a breach of defensive or offensive capabilities, panic of the populace or commercial enterprises such as Wall Street, etc. Are you implying that the public has a right to know everything? If not, then I need you to show proof of a wilful act of deception on the part of the "MSM" and the FBI and DOJ to deceive the public for political or personal ends in regards to Hunter Biden's laptop.
If you think the public needs to know everything the government knows then I wish you luck if you ever have to take up arms again in defense of our country.

Third. If you can provide me with these quotes from the 'MSM" and they do indeed turn out to be outright lies, or misinformation, or errors, unfounded rumors, etc. Has the "MSM' issued any retractions? If so please provide a list, with a link, to those "MSM" outlets that provided retractions, updates, etc. and those who have not. That is, what "MSM" outlets are still reporting these lies that you have been confirmed. And BTW, who has confirmed that they are lies. Please provide links to the confirmations.

Fourth, are there any outlets not on your "MSM" list that reported the same or similar thing. ("the laptop was 'Russian disinformation'.") If so could you provide me with a list of who they are and exactly what they reported in the format I mentioned above?

Indeed it isn't a scavenger hunt, all I asked for was your sources, the rational, and the facts; but you aren't willing to reveal them. Or you don't have the time! Plenty of time to accuse someone of something though.
You make accusations and expect me to do the research to back them up or disprove them!

If you don't want to be seen as just another haywire conspiracy theorist I would think you would be more than happy to share your knowledge of these collusions, briberys, lying, etc.
I'm giving you your chance to prove that you're right. Surely you don't expect me to just take your word for all this stuff?
I won't expect you to believe anything post just becasue I say it's true, so why would I give you a free pass?

You accuse me of going off on tangents yet you won't give us any information to support your last claims and attempt to introduce new concerns, without any links, sources, quotes, etc.?
