Why is there no such word in English such as ''girl-less-ness'' or ''woman-less-ness''?

    Girl or Woman are nouns.

When you add ''less'' to a noun, it makes it negative, meaning that without girl or woman.

When you add ''ness'' to them, it means ''being without girl or woman''

As it is in ''hope'' example,

Hope...Hope-less (without hope)...Hope-less-ness (being without hope)

Girl...Girl-less (without girl)...Girl-less-ness (being without girl)

    Woman...Woman-less (without woman)...Woman-less-ness ( being without woman)

Hope is a noun there. So are girl and woman.

So...how come we can't say them in English?

But those are not single women but single men. That is where the difference comes from.

The word ''Single'' is more like ''Loveliness'' but ''girl-less-ness'' or ''woman-less-ness'' is something that only men can have.

    Considering both genders are straight.

    In Turkish, we say ''girl-less-ness''

    Girl= Kız

    Girl-less = Kız-sız

    Girl-less-ness= Kız-sız-lık

It connotes a requirement of togetherness*

I don't know why there isn't a word, but the rhetoric of this post is rather... shall we say problematic?

    It's problematic I think.

The reason I say the rhetoric is problematic is because:

    a) there is no requirement for a man to be together with anyone - he can be alone and that is considered normal.

    b) there is no requirement for a woman to provide herself to men. It's exactly the same as with men - she can be single, and that's also normal.

That being said, there may be a word for this and it's just not in the front of my mind right now.

It is perhaps a cultural difference. In other places women are considered property of men, and being single is not allowed. They are always with family until married off... more like a commodity than anything else from what I saw in my travels.

    Huh, what?

"Succubus free" or just single, I guess. Or free, or happy... Maybe I didn't understand the OP.

Or MANLY, that would be another type of 'girl-less-ness'.

    What is happy about girl-less-ness?

    ''Less'' makes the word negative.
