Why is the default font of hipforums

An Authoritarian, post modernist, sans serif?

 

i guess skip likes it.

it's easy enough to read anyway.

 

Skip keeps us under control this way.

We are all obeying, subconsciously.

 

Isn't it "Sans"?

And what font would you suggest for the default?

 

I've always been a Georgia fan myself, I also like Times New Roman of the default selection.

but, of all things. at least it's not helvetica.

What if I love my serif's?

 

you might as well just love yourself

 

I think I have seen it posted in these pages, countless times, that to love others, one must first love oneself. and, if by embracing the humble serif, one is to gain this capacity, I think, perhaps, it might be the most noble of typographic elements.

 

i was talking more along the lines of left hand lucy

 

Comic Sans...because I can't even remember what my real favorite font is.

 

I know, but I was trying to elevate the dialogue.

and serif's make that a good deal more fun.
