Why doesn't anyone like me here?

Really? Did I jump in too soon or something? Boy....and I really liked this forum too! This is nice. And it even looks cool. And you all seemed cool too.....maybe too cool. I wish I could start over again. I would not have posted for awhile. Now it seems I just kinda crashed huh?

 

Don't take it too personally is the best advice I can give you.

The boards are similar to real life in that you will find those you mesh with and those that you do not.

Hang around and you might find that there are more like people here than you are aware of. Sometimes it just takes time to get to know others and for them to get to know you.

Sometimes it is like boot camp for noobies.....most pass.

 

i've only seen one thread you made (the atheist one) and it was pretty stupid, so that's probably why. post something interesting or useful and people will like it more.

Thanks (I think)! I think people should give someone a chance to make some mistakes before they start dishing out insults,etc. What I post might seem stupid to you, but not to someone else. But if you consider me stupid then it's your loss. I am sure Heather is right and some on here, if they give me a chance, will find that I am certainly not stupid and that my posts have just as much value as yours or anyone elses in your clique. If you don't like what I post....don't read it!

Just be yourself, be original, be free and have fun... we would like that more.

You're reading too much into it. Post what oh want if they don't like it than fuck em. The more you try to please the less you will be respected.

 

He didn't say you were stupid, he said that post was stupid. Big difference.

Start in humour or Random Thoughts or something.
If you post in any of the more serious forums and it looks like you're just trying to stir the pot - you will get what you manifest.

A lot of us will be lovely people most of the time but we all post silly things or act douchy on occasion. We're all humans here But it may take a thicker skin to get through than on some other forums.




There are nuances to the different forums here. Some are kinder than others.

 

Also, keep in mind that we see wave after wave of new posters that sign up and post stupid shit for a day or two and then never come back. Which has caused us to be weary of new posters. So if you like it here then stick it out, the longer you hang around the better you may be received. I was posting here for probably a couple years before anyone took me seriously. And a lot of people still don't lol

 

Stop by the stoner's lounge if you're into that sort of thing (or even if you aren't).
