alot of stupid ass kids put satuses on facebook like, "i hate cops. fuck tha cops!!1" and etc etc. well it's not the cops fault you got caught and they arrested you, you can blame the government for setting the rules and laws. the cops are just doing their job, and some of them have a family to feed just like everyone else. and i'm sure they won't be saying "fuck tha cops!" if someone ever sneaks in their house and tries to murder them.
I am as distrusting of the people who hate the police as I am of the police. Buncha authority hating children.

I have seen too many cops violate peoples rights and try to ruin their lives just because of the cops own pathology. My son who is dark complected got stopped by cops because of his skin color..."whats a young brown kid doing driving a nice car like that". I am working with a case right now where a woman cop/castrating bitch is railroading an innocent man in a sexual offence case. Other cops are saying ""she has an agenda" watch out for her. Even the states attorney is hesitating to press the case because of her heavy handed tactics. I have been stopped because "you don't look right" = long hair, jeans & Tee shirt /nice car. A crazy racist cop came to my home a few years ago demanding to see one of my sons. A drunken redneck claimed he saw "some Puerto Rican lookin dude" commit a crime. The cop accused me of hiding my son who was in school at the time. It took the word from the drunk to tell the cop that my son wasn't the one he saw. The fact that my son was in high school and the school confirmed wasn't enough. Cops are a necessary evil in society but I never trust them. Defend them all you want but hope you never "look wrong" to them cause then you're screwed. Sorry but to me cops represnt trouble and are to be feared. Yes they have a job to do but far too often its a profession that attracts misfits seeking power.
Now, let's not be biased in our examples 3 Pittsburgh Police Officers Shot Dead Senior Police Officer Elmer Christian was shot and killed while responding to an incident where another officer had been shot and wounded. Officer Craig Birkholz was fatally shot after he and another officer responded to a home at approximately 6:00 am for an emergency call. Nearly 50 police officers have died in the line of duty, in the US, already this year.
They are defending a rhetoric that goes against human nature. Which will end only in bloodshed, higher numbers of incarceration and metal hand cuffs that bruise and hurt your hand if you even try to scratch your ass.
Same here, but I've always been in a position of witness, or skateboarder. I suspect I wouldn't enjoy the outcome of being a suspect. But if that happens, I'll have myself or the law to blame. I won't get snotty (unless I'm crying), and I'm white, so I doubt I would have any troubles with the cops themselves.
what's the issue exactly, the institution or the individual? the idea of police, as a generality, is a great one they are there to serve and protect.
What I'm saying is...as long as we have minds. As long as we have emotions we would rather feel some other time, there will ALWAYS be drugs. Always. They will never be taken away from us completely. Its impossible. I only have a problem with their problem with drugs, that's all I really have on them. The fact that they have wasted over 600 million dollars facilitating a stupid and pointless 'cleansing' of our culture shows how hopelessly retarded they are. Regardless of how dangerous the drugs are...Or how dangerous they make the person involved.
cool dude - i saw a murder!! some bloke - so you're a witness? cool dude - no, skateboarder... :frown:
The lawmakers are the ones to blame. You may find this group interesting, Law Enforcement Against Prohibtion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB7AK76TF-k"]YouTube - Obama Says Legalizing Drugs is Worthy of Debate I wrote a speech about how prohibition is harmful to the country, for class, and a cop was my best source.
I stand corrected. Close to 1 trillion dollars. See I understand what hes saying but its ridiculous. He doesn't understand what this country does to people. If your going to have a country with an infrastructure like this one, a country that has the total possibility of breaking a man down past nothing, you need to have drugs. This man shouldn't have to go through an illegal operation just to get his hands on what aids his ailment. I guarantee that we will see something VERY interesting happen before 2015, in reference to the drug problem. They will either advance with bayonets shining, or they will retreat with a humble apology....Or things might stay exactly the same. (I hope it doesn't)
This is really a tough one. Like with every group - some are kind and compassionate, some are assholes with a taser and a gun. Probably the decent ones out number the assholes. But there are still a lot of them out there which means we don't know who to trust, or who's going to rough us up or what. A jury can find an obviously guilty man and find him innocent because of the circumstances. Cops need to do that to. Last night, on a cop show, I saw some kid who had been smoking weed with a buddy in his car in the parking lot, get busted by a cop. The cop obviously knew the that weed was no heroin or meth - but he crucified the poor kids anyway. All in all, my experiences with cops have been good, though I've been busted twice for weed - But some will be violent psychos cause they know they can - and there needs to be a better mechanism to control them.
...the kind of young people that tend to interact with cops frequently are the kind that like to push the bounds of authority. Common sense gets lost to rhetoric when conflict comes about. When I was young, I was a rowdy. I got spent quite a few nights in jail. Now I am not a rowdy, and I never have any negative interactions with police. Were the cops the assholes or was I?
