Well, basically what I am curious about, is why the majority of barefooters go barefoot?

    A. Because you are a naturist?
    B. For comfort?
    C. Like the look?
    D. Like the attention?
    E. Foot Fetish?

I myself am barefoot as much as possible because of B. C. and E.
I have a tremendous foot fetish, and I love my feet very much. I think they are very cute and sexy, and I love to feel different textures, and surfaces on my soles and toes. I usually paint my toenails bright deep blue, red, pink, or purple. I dunno, I just feel sexier when I am barefoot. I take very good care of my feet.

    What's your story?

I would have to say b through e.

    B. It feels wonderful, hot and cool surfaces are great, cool wet grass even better!

    C. What looks better than jeans and barefeet? They go together.

    D. Love the looks I get, "Look that guy is barefooted!"

    E. Opps , I love to see females barefoot in public, does that comment belong here???

LOL yeah that's the one :)

    A) Perhaps, though only from the knees down and/or in the dark. It's funny because in almost all the pictures of naturist I've seen they are wearing shoes.
    B) Yup, my feet just feel so confined in shoes, hot too.
    C) Never really thought about it, feet are just a natural body part.
    D) Actually no, I like it more when no one notices.
    E) Not that I know of.

Basically I just hate shoes, always have, even as a toddler. I had the biggest screaming fits when my parents tried to get new ones for me.
I always look at shoes, especially those stupid fashionable ones, and can't understand the fuss over bits of dead cows warped into something hard to walk in that gives you messed up feet.

    A. Because you are a naturist? Yes, that's part of it...I'd be nude 24/7 if I could, but I can't. :(
    B. For comfort? Definitely...can't see the point of wearing shoes when it's a beautiful day...and shoes make my feet sweat.
    C. Like the look? Absolutely! The human foot is a beautiful thing...and bare feet look great with the kinds of clothes I wear (shorts, t-shirts, jeans). I also think they look best slightly dirty...
    D. Like the attention? Not particularly, though I don't mind it, and it's led to some interesting times in the past...
    E. Foot Fetish? Yup...always been a turnon for me...

For me, it's b & c. I feel more comfortable barefoot even if it's freezing cold or very hot. Bare feet are natural and to me there is nothing more sexy than a barefoot woman with tough, dirty feet. I wouldn't say I have a fetish but it depends on your definition. I've dated a couple of true barefooters and it was so nice not to be able to tell which of us had the blackest feet!

    A) Only really a home nudist, so wouldn't say that's why

    B) Of all these I would have to say B Comfort is my biggest reason by far.

D ) I really don't do it for the attention that's not my style, I keep to myself and not out for attention - that is why comfort is #1

    E) In public I do look down at footwear - I guess in hopes of finding other people barefoot and in part watching were I'm going while barefoot.

Not to sound like I can't come up with my own thoughts but I really liked how a couple posts already summed up A, B, D and E

I'll have to agree with beachMonkey on A,B and D

and like barefoot boy's comment on E

even love them in flip flops

    A) Yes, I do feel a bit of the "naturist" in me, and I do feel that it's fun and cool to let my feet naturally handle walking in my environment. I like to get the sense that they're "tough enough" to handle wherever I might wish to go on them.
    B) Yes, nothing is more comfortable than being barefoot, for me. Before I moved to Florida in 1997, I had never really gone barefoot out and about, just mostly at home. I'd go on my friend's boat barefoot, and when we stopped at the store on the way sometimes I wouldn't bother with shoes. Other than that, I didn't know that even though I felt perfectly comfortable in sneakers (which is mostly what I wore) that I'd feel so much better barefoot, and that I'd come to really dislike the feeling of wearing shoes.

    C) Yes, I do like the look of being barefoot. It looks natural and relaxed and peaceful.

    D) The attention is a double-edged sword. When it's positive, I do enjoy it. But when it's negative, it often means I'm being told I can't go somewhere.

    E) YES, I have always had a major foot fetish. When I first started going publicly barefoot, my fetish had a lot to do with it. I got an erotic charge from being out barefoot, especially the farther away I was from the nearest shoes I could wear. Gradually, that feeling was replaced by the simply physical pleasure of having my feet be free.

But I have always been aware of a heightened erotic appreciation for pretty feet. (Girls' feet -- I'm not into guys' feet.) I think that they are pretty and sexy and cute and fun to play with. They are capable of receiving sooo much pleasure, both sensual and erotic. I think it's a blessing to have been born with a foot fetish, since through it I can receive aesthetic pleasure (seeing, smelling, touching and tasting a girl's feet) and give pleasure (giving foot massages, sucking and licking toes and soles, and more). It's win-win! :D

If anyone is interested, I have posted some pictures in my gallery (go to member galleries and look up "peacefuljeffrey") of me enjoying a friend's pretty girl-feet. Enjoy!

    Blue skies,
    -Jeffrey

Barefoot Paradox, I really would like it if you posted pictures of you and your pretty feet that you take such good care of in a member gallery. Can you do me that precious favor? :) I like seeing cute feet as much as you do!

For me its definately B and C.

I enjoy the freedom of bare feet and the feeling of the ground beneath my soles. I really hate Monday mornings when I have to put shoes on again to go to work. Feels like my feet are being crushed!

I think bare feet look great. It shows that the owner is relaxed and not concerned about what the rest of the world thinks about them. I like my feet to be dirty, it shows I'm a real barefooter

for me, it's b and c. i etremely love the feeling to touch the ground and feel the surfaces and the temperatures, so for me its not too cold in april or october. and i also feel a lot more fashionable in my bare feet than in any summer shoes or sandals. i can move in a different, much more natural way and have a lot of dresses i never combined with shoes :) . i think the dirty bare feet look is best with white, red or black clothes ;)
