I don't at all. They've produced some of the funniest comedians ever.

 

because it makes them feel better about themselves in a very backwards way

 

I don’t hate Jewish people, but Jewish people tend to have this way about them that is just unsettling to other people. I think it has something to do with the whole chosen people thing; some Jews take that to heart and can be a little pushy. People don’t take kindly to that.

people have infinite reasons for having the prejudices that they do, so i couldn't even begin to answer that question here. i really don't think hating jews is all that common though. most people can't even tell the difference between jews and other white people anymore.

 

i think it's just a stereotype. nobody really hates the jews - people just poke fun, much like they do out of many other demographics.

neo-nazi's may hate jews - but their reasons are redundant, hitler hated the jews because a jewish art teacher ridiculed his work. so unless every nazi is a passionate, but hopeless painter, i'd wager it was hate for hates sake.

 

I would assume that most of the hatred for Jews at the present time is because of the almost age-old reason that they are the money lenders. AKA International Bankers. It would seem that throughout history they have been the scapegoat of many a crisis but the history of their existence has been challenged. There's a book called Unearthing The Bible (I think) by 2 archeologists who have come to the conclusion that the jewish only started appearing in the 11th century AD or thereabouts. Vast relating theories seem to connect this appearance to another form of brutal propaganda from the common man's best friend - the catholic church! In essence (so the theories go) they created a new social group for the purposes of goat scaping. I am not wholly convinced but the idea is compelling, particularly when you bear in mind the connections between the Catholic church and the Nazi party. If it is true then it worked almost perfectly. And apparently some people have made the connection between "Jewish controlled" institutions and those that fall under the influence of the Vatican. How fascinating...

 

A large reason is because of centuries of cultural prejudice. It didn't started with the germans or the holocaust. It's very good comparable with other racial hate. So if you understand the racism in your area you should be able to get why others keep on hating on the jews. Another reason for lots of people seem to be that the jews got their own land in Palestina and caused lots of international friction.

 

I think it has something to do with 2000 years of history, international banking, the state of Israel, Jerry Seinfeld, really stupid people (the haters, not the jews), and ignorance.

 

Shorten your question to "why do people hate _________"? The named group isn't as important as mankinds apparent need for a target for our hate. Hate, such an energy consuming soul killing emotion that serves nobody, consumes the hater as well as the hated. Very unhippie like...

 

Because people use them as a scapegoat for problems caused by other things. They're really nice people, though!

reverse racism. You're still lumping them in as a group. I am sure some Jewish people are perfectly nice, and some of them are probably huge dickheads.
