Why did you become Gay?

in school we had an debate:how do people become gay?And i cant answer this.


Can someone help me with this question. :love:

 

My belief is that they are born that way, and it's not a conscious choice.

In my opinion, and yeah I am gay, people don't 'become' gay they either are or are not. Simples

 

this has been said over and over but here it goes again: why did you become a heterosexual?

 

- there's no discrimination
- i want the ability can have children
- i want to give blood
- i don't want to be a presumed pedophile
- i'd like to fall in love
- there are tax benefits (marriage etc.)
- don't want to burn in hell
- pink just doesn't suit me

just to name a few.

Not to sound cliche' but mistreatment from girls in my youth. But I did consider myself straight for the longest time like up 16 or 17. Then some guys just looked really good, now that I'm more used to the idea even more do.

I never became gay.

I have tried being gay and for the past decade have made love to a number of men but I was married to a woman for 20 years and really loved the hot sex with her.

I love having sex with women - and men.

The choosing to be gay argument doesn't hold up. You can't CHOOSE to be fabulous and have good fashion sense.

Just kidding, but seriously why would someone choose a lifestyle of persecution and ridicule? Most people, when offered a choice, would rather fall in line with the norm.

 

first off, to the poster above i LOVE your sig, i've been saying that crap for years now.

now, i'm a firm believer in the fact that NOBODY (including myself) "becomes" gay. EVER. they're born that way and just realise it later in life.

I discovered around the age of puberty, whilst looking at some photos showing a cock penetrating a vagina, that I was more excited by the cock than the vagina. This was around the age of 11. Back then (1961) it was still illegal in the UK to be 'Queer', 'Homosexual'.

But it wasn't until my early teens that I first began 'finding out' about my sexual urges. I had my first oral sex with my (male) school friends. Although I went on to be 'heterosexual' to all around me, I knew what I liked from the outset. I never 'became gay'! Strictly speaking, I am actually bisexual, but I CHOOSE not to have anything to do with women, because I've had SO much pain with them. Ok, I've been deeply hurt by men too, but nowhere near as much, and I prefer a nice cock to vagina anyway. So I refer to myself as gay. I didn't choose gay, it chose me!
