I started practicing Kundalini meditation (focusing on the various chakras throughout the body) and within a few days, I noticed that my dreams became extremely lucid. I was remembering very specific details about my dreams. Does anyone else have this expierence?

I also noticed that most or all of my dreams were nightmares. Either someone was chasing me trying to kill me. Or I was screaming and going insane for some random reason. I had some really disturbing dreams, so disturbing that I stopped the Kundalini meditation, so that I would stop remembering them. And the lucidity dissapeared within a week. I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Lucid dreaming is where you realise that your dreaming, while youre dreaming...thus granting you the ability to control your dreams and all that. Its not really being able to remember your dreams when you wake up (though, lucid dreams are more easily recalled, I guess...).

Meditation can often be used (among other things) to help you begin having lucid dreams. In Tibet, Buddhist monks practice "dream yoga".

I guess its because those types of things require you to be aware, of every little thing. Being aware is also required to have lucid dreams.
