i suppose a fundie would say that they're either not supposed to, that they're put here for other purposes, or that they should go with the dominant sex that they are and stick with it's behaviors.
God creates hermaphrodites to up recruitment. He realizes that more people will be thankful of Him because He did not make THEM hermaphrodites and therefore increase church attendance. A fundemental misconception is that God is all-good. He is a self-centered narcisist whom relishes the attention of others. He created free will so that his creatures could Love him freely. Although he says that his followers will live after death, it is merely a ploy to get attention. Homosexuals, like all evil, are created for a multi-layered reason. Good cannot exist without evil and evil cannot exist unless you arbitrarily label something as such. God realizes that His creatures will not worship him unless a) there is a reward, or b) He makes his presence clearly known. People will not worship God if they didn't go to a place like Heaven, and therefore God would have no use for them in such a place. However, they would not worship Him unless they thought they were going to get a reward, so God planted the artificial conception of Heaven. God is far too froogle to purchase miracles (which are from 3,000 - 19,000 units of currency each, depending on what it is.) so He does not bother showing his presence any more. Not since around 4,000 years ago, before he lost a bet on some ancient battle. Also the interest rates have been exceedingly shitty the past couple millennia. He had to mortgage his house in order to buy his seventh Universe.
I think he created them in hopes that they would fluorish because then everyone would stop saying 'Go Fuck Yourself'

Why create them? I wonder if we can possibly hope to answer this. Why did He create male & female? I don't know why He made this world the way it is. I don't believe homosexuality is a sin. But in the case of hermaphrodites, surely their sexual acts could only be defined as homosexual if it was done with another hermaphrodite - because it means having sex with the same sex as your own.
Well many would say that "he" created male and female for procreation. Does this fly in the face of that?

Without getting into whether or not God created humans - assuming He did for arguments sake, perhaps the reproductive process could have been configured differently. But clearly, male and female exist to reproduce the spieces. Also - there most definitely are human hermaphrodites. I saw a tv dcumentary recently about this very thing. They do exist, and have a whole batch of problems of their own.
It confirms we are 'Degenerated' as a Planet when along comes the occasional genetic deformity. The Christian Perspective: These people bless us by making us appreciate what we really do have and end the tendency to 'Take it for granted'. Not saying this is 'Pretty' and 'Nice' but that IS what these disabled people bless us with. We are also called to give them as much aid and comfort as we can. There are people born with various genital situations and, as a previous poster mentioned, some Fuckhead 'Doctors' wanted to use them (and their scalpels) to experiment with genders. A quick defintion of the various, forms, causes and numbers of hermaphrodites: Accepted definition: A person born with both male and female sex organs. This is a vague, confusing and inaccurate definition. There are 3 labels of Hermaphrodites: True, Male pseudo and Female Pseudo. All are equally genuine. TRUE A person born with both ovary and testicular tissue, this could be 2 separate gonads ( one of each) or a combination of both in one (an ovotestes). The genitalia can vary from completely male or female, to a combination of both or even ambiguous looking. The chromosome (karotype) compliment can be XX (female), XY (male), XX/XY (mosiac) or even XO (extremely rare). Those XX with female genitalia are raised female ( some have even given birth). Those XY with male genitalia are raised male ( a few have fathered children). The children born XX/XY or XO (with genitalia male or female are raised in the sex they look most like) ,Those born with ambiguous genitalia have many medical tests for the doctors to determine which sex they should be assigned. Doctors then recommend early surgery to make the child look physically like the sex assigned to them. CAUSES The causes are not known, The medical community does know this is a very rare condition but do not have accurate figures to how many people have this condition (depending on the literature between 350-450 known cases). FEMALE PSEUDO A person born XX with normal female internal organs but with "masculanized" genitalia. They can appear more male then female or a combination of each. CAUSES The most common is Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) it occurs approximately 1:14,000 births. This is when the adrenal glands overproduce testosterone. It also has been recorded that some persons with this disorder had been exposed to progesterone-like drugs before they were born. MALE PSEUDO A person born XY with testes (usually in the abdominal cavity). The external genitalia are usually female but can be ambiguous. CAUSES The most common cause is Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS). This is when the body doesn't respond to the androgen being produced. There are different variations: Complete (CAIS) , and Partial (PAIS). This condition has a variety of names and occurrence rates..
