Dont call me prejedice, or stereotyping or whatever..... but why cant asian people drive?!?!?! i hate to say it, but they always drive sooo slowly, and not even catiously slow, its like they drive slow cuz they think slowly. i can name half a dozen times this week alone ive almost been in an accident, and whenever i look at the person driving....... ASIAN!! i hate to say it, but most bad drivers are asian or indian, or just old people in general. lol, this country is lucky im not president. sorry, just trying to vent off some steam here
That is so true Blackie... people from Oregon can't drive for shit. As far as Chinese people... could it be because people from the city don't really drive much? Same with Japan? I can't really say that I've noticed bad Asian drivers because to me... a shitty driver, is a shitty driver.
Around here, we just don't have many Asians so I tend to notice lousy drivers who are either black or white.
damn i posted this thread like last year! lol i didnt know it came back. i think its because asian culture is very mellow and are taught to be very careful. but still, it is frustrating to be stuck behind someone going like 5 miles under the speed limit with they're blinker on. all cultures have their share of bad drivers, i just noticed the prevalence among asians
lol when i posted this thread i was talking about people actually from asian countries, not people who have been in america for a while. i have two asian friends and they are great drivers, lol, but even they told me that they hate it when their parents drive.
And they always drive like a monster of an SUV. Or at least that's been my experience with 95 lb. asian women.
I think the elderly are the most frustrating by far. There have been 7 occurances of elderly drivers going the wrong way on the freeway just in 2005 in this area. Already several people they hit have died
Why don't you make a thread about that Zoomie ? 'Cos it certainly doesn't beg "the second" question. Of course of all that has been written before only the Dr wrote the rational, sociologic explanation... It's what you would expect from a Dr.
