video "Why Are Thin People Not Fat Full BBC Documentary."

It touches on various aspects of weight management.

One of the test subjects in the overfeeding experiment, Martin Wong, gained weight but less compared with the other subjects. His weight gain had a higher proportion of lean body mass compared with the others who gained mostly fat mass.

Look at foods that make your metabolism faster and exercise

People act like weight loss is some sort of science that's beyond us that needs to be in pills or they blame it on genetics

Look up people who lost 100s of pounds and you'll feel that any goal is possible

As much as I agree that weight mangement of any kind, weight loss, gain, or maintainence has to do with what you eat and your activity level, it's hard to believe it's that simple when you're 80 pounds or 300 pounds.

weight loss is as simple as consuming less calories than you burn. and
weight gain is as easy as consuming more calories than you burn.

BUT, it's complicated by the fact that people have vastly different resting metabolisms. if you burn a lot of calories just sitting still, it's going to be hard to gain weight. if you normally don't burn many calories, you will have to work hard to burn off excess calories and lose weight.

    Eat too much, get fat.
Eat proportioned to your heigh and weight, feel good.

I believe it really is, just that simple.

These sorts of docos really piss me off honestly I mean it's not that hard to realize how or why you put on the weight. It's not rocket science. You chose to live in inactive life and over eat. Shit's on you.

    Because they are thin....

I can't gain weight no matter how much or what I eat... Some people are just like that. It's not as simple as many people think.

I have a pretty fast metabolism so it's easier for me to lose weight then to gain it, but I can also gain weight fairly quickly if i'd like.

seems simple enough... thin people aren't fat because if they were, they wouldn't be thin people.

I've read an article about metabolism, which some people have better than others still everything can change after they turn 30. So they have to be attentive with weight gaining too.
