As much as I agree that weight mangement of any kind, weight loss, gain, or maintainence has to do with what you eat and your activity level, it's hard to believe it's that simple when you're 80 pounds or 300 pounds.
weight loss is as simple as consuming less calories than you burn. and weight gain is as easy as consuming more calories than you burn. BUT, it's complicated by the fact that people have vastly different resting metabolisms. if you burn a lot of calories just sitting still, it's going to be hard to gain weight. if you normally don't burn many calories, you will have to work hard to burn off excess calories and lose weight.
Eat too much, get fat. Eat proportioned to your heigh and weight, feel good. I believe it really is, just that simple. These sorts of docos really piss me off honestly I mean it's not that hard to realize how or why you put on the weight. It's not rocket science. You chose to live in inactive life and over eat.
