Why are americans so over patriotic when there country is governed by a war criminal.

Why are americans so over patriotic when compared to western europe canada new zealand and australia.And most so called 1st world countries they have really poor human rights.Have to pay for hospital treatment and are bassically the most backwards in terms of human rights of so called 1st world countries.

i have to say america is the most fucked up and worst country in the world, but its also the best kinda. id love to live there, even tho i hate the fuck out of it, i love many things about it while i still hate the fuck out of some of them. i guess its kind of you can hate but cant exatly live without thing hehe.

Theres no special hospital tax in the uk then again i dont know what taxes you have in america.In britain though there are a lot of crappy annoying taxes including income tax where by the more you earn the more your taxed.Road tax council tax basically the bigger your house the more your taxed it also depends what area you live.Theres also somthing thats called national insurance.But as far as hospital treatment goes you could be homeless never worked never payed tax or a millionaire and you would still get the same treatment and drugs.Also the fire brigade is free as well.Would be interested to know how the american tax system works and what taxes you pay

This is reason one why i think america is backward in terms of human rights.In some states you execute children you execute mentally ill people .you execute people with the mental age of a small child.I find these sort of actions absoulutly sickening and disturbing.It truly is like the action of a backward third world nation.

 

Yar most people on here take drugs. And most people who take drugs dont like them being illegal. Therefore dont liek their government. But ofc most people hate America for other reasons.
Personally i could never live there, but not just because of the Government itself.

People are raised with a lot of flag worshipping jingoistic bullshit in the states and so many americans find it very hard to accept they've been lied to when they find out the truth of what their country has done/is doing and for what reasons. Over here people are naturally resentful of government from birth and are taught to trust the government a lot less. Also the mainstream media over here is allowed to criticise the actions of the government unlike america: a free unbiased press. However don't for one minute think that this makes us superior... We're just as nasty and fucked up in other ways...

edit: Patriotism in the UK is only really taken seriously by people who are mentally ill anyway... Most of us realise we're shit, built on shit and our government is shit (no matter what party wins the government is still in power) so can laugh at ourselves and our pathetic little mindests.. Americans might find it harder...

Er yes... Off the top of my head I can't remember but there's states where people can be executed for crimes committed as a minor and much documnetation of people who are seriously mentally ill being executed... Could find sources but can't be arsed, maybe later..

Yeah im feeling that they have got a lot less freedoms than in the uk.there is this law in florida its called three strikes and your out if you commit three crimes no matter how minor you get life.Someone told me this years ago and i thought they were chatting shit then recently on the news i saw this news report about how florida was thinking of scraping this law.You have got people doing life for the most petty crimes.Any time i get pissed off about living in the uk i think thank god i dont live in america.And when i get pissed off about britains draconian drug lie laws.I think at least there not as bad as americas.For example you can be arrested for a drug offence for just visiting a grow room.In the uk you can buy cannabis seeds all the equipment you need from stores pacifically selling the equipment along with any and i mean any type of seed you want.And possesion is decriminalised.You will get your stash taken away no fine and thats it as long as it isnt a shit load then they will obviously think your carrying with intent to supply then again it isnt a serious offence anyway unless your doing huge commercial grows and for a first offence if you get prison and that is a big if you will probally get one or two years and in british prisons you dont get ass raped because the other prisoners would see that person as a sicko sex offender and fuck him up.Also because of britains human rights the screws you call them guards in america cant get away with half the sadistic shit those sick power crazed fucks do in your prisons

 

Exactly, by which time they may have been able to sort themselves out or turn their lives around. Not everyone is irredeemable and something you did aged 16 should not necessarily mean you should be executed for it when you're 30 (circumstances depending of course).

The major gripe I have with the death penalty is there's room for flaws... Even if there's a 0.01% chance that they might be innocent that chance is still too high to warrant execution imo... Many people have been wrongly convicted of many things and sometimes when no-one else is caught and evidence is sketchy the police will push for a conviction because of public pressure, whatever, when they don't even have great grounding...
