Who's your fav Phish vocalist?

Not exactly known as a 'singers' band.
Just wondering, who's voice do you dig the most?

i voted mike...its unique and his songs are always good....

 

That is really hard to say....I love Trey's voice because of it reminds me of some kind of weird animal that would sing....like a sloth or a lizard..hehe (I hope you Phans get that). I love Mikes voice too....and Page's.... Fishman is the only one that I can't identify. They're are too diverse to give a simple answer. I mean not only do they sing differently but some times they change their voices....like when Mike does his deep voice.

 

I was going to vote Page because he seems to actually have the best singing voice, but I went with Mike for 1 reason....
watching him sing Emotional Resue at Hampton. We had tears rolling down our faces we were laughing so hard with joy and humor.

Well then I agree he does have the best singing voice...but I still love Trey's voice.

 

Yea - I thinl page may "technically" have the best signing voice but he's not my favorite. In a way Treys voice defines phish for me - when I hear it it just brings me back to when I first discovered phish and excitement just rushes over me. I voted Fish though to be different - and cause he just rocks at everything!

Trey is the voice of phish. truly his voice makes me think of the good times more than most....
