i personally think keith moon from the who was well good cos he was just crazy and Neil Peart from rush was fantastic

As far as pure technical skill goes, I'll have to say Neil Peart. However, not really being a fan of rush, my favorite drummers are: Keith Moon, John Bonham, and Ginger Baker.

yeah basically, they seem to get like 'legendary' status and stuff, not that thats a bad thing, i mean like say if ginger baker died right now...he probably would get a higher status of what he already has..perhaps
