unfortunately not man, i've had some delays (basically im going to london every weekend and getting mashed and digging into my savings a bit now lol)...BUT... gimme 4 months, i have about a grand saved... How were the philliphines? Worth the visit? I predict you'll end up in Laos ...head north do some light trekking, it'll be much cooler (it's hot season now yeah?). Go to Muang Sing and Luang Prabang innit! That's what i'd do...probably...but who knows... How much longer you staying out there?
lol nah, i can get chang here in thai and chinese resturants (for about £40000000)...though i cant find any in supermarkets here... Weird since they sponsor Everton football club!
Philippines was okay, it's not as safe as the rest of south east asia and very westernised, but it is possibly the easiest country in the world to pick up women!! The islands are really beautiful though and for scuba divers it would be heaven. I didn't get to go to Palawan though which was disappointing for me. Yeah I'm looking forward to my first chang in well over a year! Hoping to head to Laos aswell up to Luang Prabang. And Peter your travels are getting delay far to frequently, you need to get the finger out!!! I'll be home again and saving for my next trip before you leave!!
yeah i know tell me about it...I'm going to go back into hibernation and not go out and save like crazy again starting this week... Just i feel too comfortable with my fridge full of food and familiar bed...far too comfortable...not good!
