The Whole Earth Catalog in its many versions can be found used on Amazon or Abebooks. The Last Whole Earth Catalog from 1971 is the classic version. It sold over 1.5 million copies and was awarded the prestigious National Book Award. Along the margins of this edition you will find the outstanding hippie novel, Divine Right's Trip by Gurney Norman.
I haven't seen a Whole Earth catalog in YEARS. I remember a few in the house while growing up. And I think I read Divine Right's Trip. looks like $20 or so through ABE. might have to get one for old time's sake...
Yeah, brings back memories. Sent mine to the dump in the nineties. Wish I hadn't now. Could make some bucks on ebay. They were full of plans for all kinds of useful things.
