Who Would You Like To Be Instead Of Who You Really Are?

So come on then who would you like to be if you had the chance to become someone other than who you really are ?

Perhaps you were thinking you might prefer to be something different instead of a human being, an insect perhaps or maybe a plant if that does it for you. This is your one and only chance to be whatever or whoever you want to be instead of your usual self, or perhaps instead you're quite happy being your usual self and if so please tell us why.

This should be interesting I'm sure we will all learn something here...

 

Ya know, one thought that has stuck with me for many years was that no matter what form I end up, be it human, insect, a tree, a car, anything, I just hope people treat me with respect. I always treat others how I'd want to be treated- I don't step on ants if I can help it.

Maybe I'm reading way too deeply into this, haha, but I don't think I'd want to be anyone or anything else at this point. There are times when I wish I had qualities that other people have such as confidence or being someone who can learn quickly, but I feel like I'll obtain the qualities I'm meant to have when the right time comes.


I think it would be fun to be one of my dogs for a day See things from their perspective. I also find the idea of being an individual with a developmental delay or intellectual disability for a day to be fascinating, I could learn about life from their point of view and maybe come back with some knowledge to share.

 

I would be myself but with the ability to fly. I think being able to fly is the only thing I'm lacking.

 

Probably some sort of bird, like an eagle or a crow. I don't have the greatest site anymore and I think it would be fantastic to get to see what a bird gets to see in terms of vision.

 

I think I would like to be a woman, and that's mainly because I would love to think, feel, dress and live like women do. Having spent all my life being a man it is a very mono masculine kind of experience, not that I mind of course but I think women have lots more fun in life than men do for obvious reasons. I think being a woman would be a wonderful experience, being attractive to men, wearing nice clothes and all the other things women wear without going into details. So yes I think I would be up for the chance to be a woman in real life...

 

I'd like to try Porky Pig.

 

Have you given that much thought and if so, what are the advantages of living like a porky pig?

 

At first I thought it might be fun being superman for a day but then I thought "if I want to fly there’s always the friendly skies"

Am I missing something here, this is a thread about who you would like to be so I guess it would be superman then although being the sky seems quite bizarre. The other bit has lost me totally, but not to worry life goes on...

I'd possibly just like to be my dog too. Or a cat. Just to know what they actually can understand and maybe it would help me understand what they're thinking and how or why. I want to know whether my dog thinks of being in trouble when he does something wrong or if it goes over his head, but he must realize it because he has tell tale signs when he's been up to no good. Very submissive, the look on his face tells it all. So he understands I won't be happy when he eats a plant up. But does he understand that in the act? Things like this would interest me as every day pets.

 

I also kind of want a penis. For those drunken walks home when you really need to pee, and for writing my name in the snow. But still I would like the rest of me to be me. Plus flight...

i would rather be who i really am, then anyone i've ever had to be to get by in this life. you see, the problem is, who i really was, in my previous lives, would require a far greater mental capacity, then anything human is born with, let alone, this body i was actually born in. who would i rather be. i'd rather be themnax, not the mundane name my parents this body i currently live in inflicted on it, at the birth of its birth.

who i would rather be, isn't anyone you're likely to ever meet or hear of on this earth.

oh yes, and if you could meet the me, the whole me, who wouldn't fit inside of a human form, even if it was a super genius, i'd probably look something like a cat+weasil, walking on two legs that were made for walking upright, that's a guess though, i could be a taur form, and any rate, however many limbs i might have, i'd still have two remaining free from being walked on, for fine manipulation of technology things, a super large brain, AND the whole fur, tail, pointy ears bit too.

i would be, whatever the people on whatever world i lived on would look like, it just wouldn't be this earth and wouldn't look like this earth's humanity.

there is no earth human person i would rather be. i completely fail to see the point of why i would. it might have been fun to have been born to privalige and wealth. or not as the case might be. but there are certainly things i would have liked to have made and done had i had the resources with which to do so.

but that still really doesn't have anything to do with the idea of being some other human person.

(i suppose elon musk or buffet, or that microsoft guy, what's his name, i forget now. i could have been any of them if i'd had a bigger brain and the right education. and i did see microsoft coming and i knew the kind of education i would have need to have been him, but there was no way in hell i could have gotten it for love nor money. but i still wouldn't have ended up BEING any of them, if you see what i mean, but i might have taken similar advantage of similar opportunities if i'd had them and had recognized them)

 

I'd be a machine, so I could play silly games with my programmer, and when he curses at me I'll laugh because I know it's always his fault for what i've done, never mine.

Come to think of it I would like to be and am of course Backchat, because it's opened up a whole new vista of experience to me, and I can escape from whom I really am. I guess it's a kind of reverse mind logic so to speak, but it's certainly fun being Backchat my alter ego in real life.
