Who uses psychedelics?

I'd like to find out at what age other people using psychedelics are.

If you are not using them now, how old were you when you did?

 

I am 23. I use several kinds in varying doses.

 

This'll be interesting.. I'm gonna guess mostly between 11 and 30

 

It wouldn't, surprise me from my own experience if the high will be between 11-20. I think it should have been broken up differently personally. Like 0-10 11-17 18-21 22-30 31-40 etc.

It'll obviously be the young age group who doesn't it the most, but which demographic? I started at.. 17 I'm 19 now and still do psychs, but not nearly as often. I turned a lot of my friends on at the same age, and found people of my age. But a college age sounds like the most likely.. Idk.

 

I agree that you should have zoomed the lense between 18-30, but i understand you are limited by forum options and maybe you really are just interested in the decade time span. I first did LSD around age 23.

Yeah, I also think majority will be in 11-30, could have split that up more, but was mostly interested if people tend to drop this trend and stop doing them at some point for some reasons.

I've started with tryptamines at 16, I'm 18 right now.

 

LSD was my first trip at 16/17. That was over 3 decades ago.

 

I'm 19. My first psychedelic experience was with LSD when I was 16. I've been tripping fairly regularly ever since.

 

First tripped(LSD puddle!) at 19 a week before my 20th birthday, still tripping today when I can get my hands on some.

 

14- LSD was the first thing for me to try, followed by weed

I try and trip a few times a year to sort of put me in a good head space, i get caught up in this cultural trance that sometimes I need to take a dose and settle down again. I've been using psychedelics purely for exploration and healing.
I'm 21

 

Which question do you want answered?

If people only answer the first question, it will be in the 20-30 year old range.

If people answer the second question the results will be lower, in the teens-20 range.

Now if I were to guess based on my time here at Hip Forums and reading the psychedelics section, I say the average age of psychedelic users who post here is about 30.

tried salvia when i was 14,tried weed now when i'm 15. Planning to try DMT but can't get my hands on it

 

I am 27, and no longer partake outside of smoked DMT and that only occasionally. Had my heaviest period of use between 16 and 23, started with mushrooms at 14.

 

First trip, '66, Purple Haze. Last trip, last month, blotter. Might trip more if I had a copilot.

 

Started less than a year ago. Before then I just had marijuana.

 

I haven't in awhile, but I would if they were available and the day was right. I'll be 27 in two days.

 

I am 61. I first tripped in 1975 when I was 23. The last time was at the Santana/Allman Bros concert a few months ago.
