Dear Lesbian Community, I am not sure this will end up in the right place, but this is me, Maya, introducing myself! I identify as a "Stemme", which, in case anyone is wondering, is a fun word that includes Stud & Femme - not sure who coined the term, but I love it and resonate with it - for me it means I am a Femme with a Butch/Stud edge . . . I'm super feminine in essence but also like to drive a tractor, wear sturdy boots and do a lot of rough and tumble stuff. . . I love my Butch GF who takes fabulously chivalrous care of me, and I love that she lets me stand up and take care of her, too. 'Fireman's pants n lace', my Butch likes to call me. I am also an actor, artist and poet. I have worked part time for many decades (lifetimes, actually, but I don't ask anyone to beleive anything they have not experienced, so if you 'get' the lifetime thing, great, if not, no worries! as an alternative healing facilitator as well. My GF & I recently rescued an abandoned puppy from between two empty buildings... We are in love now with this little guy - a mut of unidentifyable origin, but the sweetest being in the universe! (And oh my Goddess, whomever posted that photo of the tiny babydog in her hands - that is ADORABLE.) Oh - right - I also run a blog called butchfemmelistings - and want to invite any Butch-Femme folk (or those who love us) to visit the blog.
