The whole thing is ours and we can experience that if we are willing to share. Not to begrudge you your space but the idea that we can own a little bit of the world is what cuts the world to pieces. I would give it all to you so that I could share it.
You can't give what you don't own. I have a t-shirt that says... "The world is barrowed, from our children."
I'd get your money back. Seriously, I agree. I agree with Tyrsonswood, too. Geopolitics aside, most own their spot in the world. Sad to say, some don't though.
I am sure your t shirt is eloquent how ever I don't spend a lot of time conversing with them. You pretty much exhaust what they have to say in a matter of moments. What part of biology am I prevented from experiencing? Property is an idea that I do not embrace but I respect others demands for it. I consciously choose my home as earth. I find myself thus at home anywhere. I observe the customs of the members of my own household. There is no custom I prefer beyond peace and there is no law against that.
We own nothing but certain death. We merely use objects as we pass through. Some have much to use. Some have little. Always has and will remain thus. Perhaps objectively none of it matters. Subjectively it has been made to matter very much regardless of time of "possession" or use of same, complying with human constructs. If the question had been "who makes the rules?',then the answer would have to be those with the most powerful weapons and the will to use them.
