Actually it isnt that simple because the media may mean a lot of different things including "the internet" and various websites, also i dont know if this is true of the usa but in order for a radio station to get a licence to broadcast in the uk it must produce a certain amount of political news and broadcast it to its listeners. The reason being obvious. So one way or another the messages that are delivered to the media wont escape your attention long, and yes you dont have to read or watch the news and political views but then those messaqges can be delivered in unexpected and subtle ways which you cant avoid seeing

 

I totally agree stonk. I read a study about television and radio broadcasts affecting people's dreams, even when the device's volume was off but it was still receiving a signal. The human brain receives much more stimuli than we are consciously aware of.

 

Umm... don't you think maybe that's over generalizing? I mean, every race, every religion, every ethnic group has some who are good and some who are not. People are individuals with individual needs and desires. There are those of Jewish faith across the world, and just as many who are living simple lives unconnected from the power brokers of the world as there are of any other ethnic group. Once we stop looking at a person as an individual and just lump them into some group that we've formed a prejudice about, we are on the path to losing our soul.

 

I think it is that simple. You don't have to listen to the radio. You can carefully choose your news outlets on the internet. You can choose to ignore the news altogether, considering you're never going to get the full picture anyways.

I like to stay well-informed but its impossible to do without being manipulated towards one opinion or the other, so I generally don't even read the news anymore.

Its surprisingly easy to turn your back on modern culture.

 

Corporate mass media is like advertisement: when you take the opposite of their delivered message you get quite close to the truth. Those presented as bad guys are mostly the good ones in reality and those presented as the good guys are in reality the worsed...

 

I have a peaceful home with good energy. It's a place where I can think, meditate, and expand my consciousness. I have no TVs radios or newspapers in my home.

I get it. I understand where you guys are coming from. I do see the power of international bankers running the world for their own benefit at all of our detriment. I just cringe every time I hear the hate speech. The Israelis have responded to the long historically hateful treatment they have received by becoming that which they hated, and even worse. But that's their government, not their people. Just as you and I sit in our homes and and discuss our own personal disgust with the people in power over us, in Israel too are there people eeking out a living and loving their families and feeling like their own government is failing them. It is in labeling groups and then assigning our own sorrows to their responsibility that we begin to follow the same path into the pit.
