Who Orchestrated the Prohibition of Marijuana?

Sounds plausible but I don't believe for a minute it was exclusively to stop the Nazi's. Wall St got the war reparations left of IG Farben. The Big Pharma we know today as well as our rocket techs responsible for NASA. I see no opposition to any other theory of removing competition. Just another brick in the wall of treachery.

(After FDR died, Harry Truman replaced Morgenthau with the above-mentioned Fred Vinson.) As secretary of the treasury, Morgenthau was in charge of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, which had law-enforcement and domestic-surveillance capabilities. Its commissioner, Harry Anslinger, was an ambitious bureaucrat out to maximize his agency’s power. West’s theory is that Morgenthau orchestrated the federal prohibition and that Anslinger’s railing against marijuana was part of the play.

Unless we think all of these products now produced by fossil fools and the standard Wall St corporations is just coincidence? I think not. If this was the only scenario then the American Nazi's would have been against prohibition. I can't think of a more Naziish plot than this Ganjawar.

DuPont and its financial backers, Andrew Mellon, Harry Anslinger, William Hurst, as well as all of the major timber, cotton, and petroleum companies.

Basically all of the people who stood to lose money from the advancement of hemp technologies.

Anslinger was appointed to his position as the head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (later to become DEA) by his soon to be uncle in law, Andrew Mellon. Mellon was one of the biggest investors of DuPont. The same year DuPont created Nylon, was the same year that scientists found that you could make the same thing from hemp. William Hurst owned all of the major Newspapers AND logging companies in the US. He used his newspapers to spread propaganda in hopes of saving his logging companies from the more efficient hemp. Hurst is the person who brought the word Marijuana to the English language. He thought cannabis was too happy sounding, and thought a Mexican slang term would work better to scare the public. For the first several years it was spelled 'Marihuana.'

DuPont, Mellon, Anslinger, and Hearst played the biggest roles in the onset of Cannabis prohibition.

Rockefeller crude oil was behind alcohol and hemp prohibition. Anslinger was the rush limbaugh with official powers. Mellon and Carnegie and DuPont were the koch's and exxons keeping out competition. Big Pharma came out of IG Farben and most of Wall St backed them and invested with them and laundered their money like Prescott Bush. Fascism is alive and well reicheer in river city.

The only difference between the 18th amendment and the 21st repeal of the 18th wasn't less arrests for drinking illegally since there wasn't anyone busted in the 10 years. Only thing different was farmers had to buy gasoline or crude oil diesel. Not the diesel used when they invented the engine, that was peanut oil. Yes that is the story most have heard but Mellon may have financed the prohibitionists and lobbyists, as well as rockefeller but he had no official role to appoint anyone if this statement is real. The Treasury Dept is busting buyers clubs today with the same DEA enforcement. Only selling is illegal federally. Or free exchanges or intent to sell in possession of over 100 plants as of Raich v Gonzales. Individuals growing reasonable amounts less than the Feds have jurisdiction over without selling it. Is a state jurisdiction. Good or bad. MMJ states are limiting amounts and providing a catch 22 for citizens. Only CA prop 215 is legal recreationally for individuals to grow themselves. Nothing about selling or conditions. Don't let politicians write initiatives, they only appease the money interests as the MMJ laws do and are seeing the results in busting buyers clubs in WA as they will in every state selling it undermining the feds jurisdiction no different than some states wanting Obama to grant them segregation or jim crow rights. Obama never said anything about selling it, only what he can't do legally. That is infringe on the 10th amendment and bust individuals. He clintonspeaked it by saying he wouldn't waste funds but he has no authority. States limiting provide the same koch cages so my advise is implement citizens initiatives and don't vote on appeasement laws just so a few can profit.

Not exactly. He coined the term in the teens against Pancho Villa. Trying to bring him back to the states for trial when his revolution took Hearst timber lands. Pancho's wife and mother were named Maria and Juana. By insulting Pancho with headlines portraying them as whores dancing on tables smoking colitas and drinking tequila. It didn't work and they sent General Purshing and that failed so they assassinated him like the cowards they are tend to do. Mexicans used the Dutch term Mariguan, that is what Mexicans called Ganja for centuries, and that is probably where Hearst got the idea to tweak the word. From the Dutch to Brazil and up through the trade routes. Mota or colitas or other slang were used in the actual language. In the 30's Fascism removing Ganja and Hemp he reversed it to stigmatize the plant with the same word used to stigmatize Pancho. His first wife was also named Maria. In any case its a derogatory buzzword with baggage eliminating paragraphs of stigma and diversions from the truth.

They were players. I can see how FDR could have directed the Treasury Sec to cause American Nazi's monetary losses to support Hitler. Many Wall St corporations and banksters supported Mussolini and Hitler. Including Ford who supplied Hitler most of his truck engines. All interconnected with Big Ag poisons not used on hemp, aborting babies in the bible belt cotton crops. Booze and Drug companies all coming out of Germany in competition. But I can still see FDR as I saw Clinton manipulate the constitution for personal and political gain. Not exclusive to the GOP, they just seem proud of it. Some say xenophobia and isolationism was so strong in the US during the 30's that FDR had to turn a blind eye to intel that could have stopped Pearle Harbor just for a reason to enter the war. Some suspect 9.11 the same way. Politicks gets ugly if you peel back the top layers.
