Those Dudes were UGLY AS HELL, but they did mediocre folk music so what can ya expect. They did some good songs, But for folk music i prefer Jethro Tull.
I do! I absolutely love them, they're one of my absolute favorite acts. In fact, I'm catching them in concert later this month. It's gonna be awesome.
I used to think of Paul Simons Kodachrome as my theme song! Anywho.. My favorites are Boxer, America, and I am a rock. Alsooo.. Sound of Silence. Bookends isn't bad either.. or Homeward Bound. Yes. They were pretty swell.
and what do you have about some random lady called mrs robinson? i love them, folk music is really beautiful!
i have nothing against her, she can be quite nice on occasion although she did kidnap my mother and used for voodoo rituals
Ugh... I've never liked them. I think they are ok. But if I want folk music, I look towards James Taylor, Leo Kottke, or Neil Young.
Great lyrics, good music, and AWESOME harmonies Cecilia is probably my favorite by them, Mrs Robinson, and A Hazy Shade of Winter
They are groovy!! Yeah i like them a good bit. I liked them more in the past though, but hey yeah i still like them.
i love them, but then again i think my dad made me like them, he used to put a big set of head phones on my mums tummy when she was pregnant with me and all he used to play was Simon & garfunkle, the beatles, the rolling stones, brian ferry & roxy music, and his motown album. suprisingly i love all these bands with a pashion.
I wouldn't really call it folk music . . .it's kind of a difficult to categorize. Some of the earlier stuff on Wednesday Morning 3am would fall more toward that end, but as they progressed, it really surpassed the folk spectrum, I would say. My favorite song: The Only Living Boy in New York. I would reccomend it accompanied by reading The Great Gatsby, excellent complements. By they way, Orsino, James Taylor over Simon and Garfunkel?? James fucking TAYLOR over Simon and Garfunkel?? Oh my friend, I have just lost a great deal of respect for you...
