Who is your drug using role model?

Fictional or real, dead or alive. Who do you admire for their accomplishments despite (or because of) drug use?

I know I will be in the minority but I believe people probably should not be admired for their drug use. I admire alot of people but none of them because of their drug use. I don't have an issue with drug use. I think everyone should make up their own minds about that.

 

I think the word "despite" may be being under-read here...

well i think we'd have to consider dr. henry jeckyll .he tested his drug himself. he was awarded with some great nights out on the town in london..i imagine the story like this though.dr. jeckyll takes a placebo .it turns out he doesn't need the drug to turn into the evil mr. hyde......also i remember reading an interesting essay written in the 1890's by wm. james about his experiments with nitrous oxide.
