Who holds the torch?

Why I am having such trouble locating dried, and preferably powdered peruvianus is beyond me. Sites I once trusted and used now no longer offer it, and even search engines seem to come up dry. I don't see any new scheduling, but is someone on to us? Why can't I find it anymore?

 

May be supply and demand. Cacti are pretty slow growing in general. Check ebay.

 

Actually, T. Peruvianus is a very fast grower for a succulent. An old supplier replied to me today and informed me the species has been deemed endangered by INRENA. Maybe it's time to nurse my own?

I appreciate the help. Those prices seem to be about ten times too high, though. I've found a few sites still offering it, but they are all outrageously priced as well.

 

I am some what confused. Will the cactus tissue these guys are selling make you hallucinate?

 

Also how do you use it? Just eat? Or any special way? I probably sound stupid but I would really like to know. Thanks.

also you cant find dryed cacti anymore because all the folks who get it, get it imported from south america, and its become endangered because folks've been either making alot of incense and paint, or eating the shit out of it.
