We don't. If my fiance and I want to watch something on Cable we go to his parents' house. They live just down the street.
aint got cable here, not even an option here actually ,,, no satellite either,,,, as a matter of fact , when the cabin is done being built there wont even be any power there so tv will be pretty doubtful then as well
I've got a free to air satelite setup. I hardly watch it, when I do it's usually CBC PBS or Discovery...Refuse to pay for television.
I grew up without cable. My dad is super-conservative & he thought it would corrupt me... well, maybe he had a point there. I'm glad I grew up w/o cable.
this seems like a strainge forum for me to come to and a strainge reason for me to come to it but definately no cable here not that there might not be good things on it but for me it would be a total waste as is corporate media to begin with =^^= .../\...
hehe I use to have cable then it got shut off and then never paid to have it turned back on, it use to cost me over 30 bucks a month..I get some channels, like maybe 6, and thats good enough for me..I burn stuff to cds and watch them thats how i manage But maybe one day, far far away I will have cable again
We don't have cable. We got rid of it 5 years ago when I was pregnant with our first son and haven't had it since. We don't miss it one bit either. Peace.
i have no cable, i watch PBS all night when I do watch tv. mostly i chill in my room and listen to music tho.............
I have the box, but no feed into the house. i.e. no signal at all, no tv. If I want to watch something, I watch or rent a dvd.
thats nice to hear, i wish i didn't have such a deep rooted addiction for it from childhood. it may not always be on, but there's got to be in the house.
Used to have cable, but no longer, only thing I really miss is comedy central... Been thinking about going and hooking it up myself, but I don't watch TV too often anyway...
