    Tell of your greatest fires...

My friends and I all have little fire pits in ourback yard. The best are at the same persons house always. Once there was only like 15 people there and one had his amazing drawing books to pass around and two others had their acoustics with them and they were playing Dave and Phish. It was really cool. We were all just chill and were passin the pipe, listening to good tunes and talking about art... How better can it get?!

    YOUR TURN!

World leaders need not convene 'round a round table in some fancy modern city... they need to sit by the fire.

Where I live, there are about a billion trails that you can drive up in vehicles with four wheel drive that cops don't know about and adults don't know about or can't really get to. Sometimes we throw huge parties with huge fires and stuff (like Dazed and Confused) and sometimes we just have little gatherings like what you are talking about. Whenever I tell people about this, they are amazed. I guess it is pretty cool when I actually stop to think about it.

i cook off of and party near a fire almost everynight when im on the road. when im camped in a city its a little more scetchy cus i have to stay hidden. its to a point where it almost sucks when i go to a festival that dosent allow fires cus then im like, well how am i gonna cook, or make coffee, how am i gonna jam with people if we'reallinthe dark. oh well those are small problems to have i guess.

I live way out in the country. We always have a bonfire...small durin the week...and a rather big gatherin on the weekend. We fish..drink..love fireworks!...and have a real good time. My best memories are of my first couple of bonfires!

We have them all the time. They're great fun. We have em almost every weekend and since everybody plays guitar we just jam the night away. Its wonderful. Everyone gets to feeling real good all the way through the evening. If any of ya are ever up in New Brunswick, just give me a call and we'll hook up :)

It was an accident... the wind blew it up the beach and the cop chased us.

I had a party similar, (but the wrong people came,) and not enough, and it wasn't so great, (at least I got a joint out of it!)

When I first found this thread when I was scrolling the main area, I thought the thread was complaining about bonfires. :p This is good! I live near the beach, so the dunes are the best place to just chill. I have a friend with a VW bus that's painted all funky so hopefully soon we can't get a lot of herb and go to the dunes, light a fire, and just lay in the back of the van stoned out of our domes! :D
