Yes, many do think their shit does not stink and they like to stroke themselves and give themselves awards....ad Hollywood is just a meat market these days for the most part...although there are still a few talented heavyweights around with real talent and a few younger ones, but very few...Old Hollywood glamor has been gone for quite a long time now....and movies with alot of heart, too.

And many multi millionaire athletes of today think their shit does not stink, too.
Talk about over pay for nothing!

 

I enjoy the oscars. good to see some talent's getting recognized.

We had an oscar party last night w/ friends and such. Though we ended up not really paying attention to the oscars and ended up playing drinking games and getting drunk haha :2thumbsup:

 

I met Peter O'Toole and really liked him...I also knew Eleanor Parker's only son, who is still around....very talented in so many ways. His name is Paul Clemens.

100% disagreed. There are plenty of independent films that are very well done with no Oscar nominated actors. That are even , superior.

 

Yes, I do love independant films...I am glad the slavery movie won best film and not Wall Street. i need to see the slavery one....and a couple of the others mentioned last night.

 

It feels funny to me to pay 15 dollars to see a bunch of actors on screen who would never give me the time of day if I were to come across them in person (not talking about the screaming annoying type of fan).

Ellen Degeneres is always great. I will take her, Bradd Pitt, Sidney Portier, Bette Midler....the beautiful actress what is her name from the warmer story awhile back....
I think she is classy, beauitufl and has a bit of that old Hollywood glamor....and......lol
