Who Else But God? Who else but God Can hold the hand of many Whilst playing the Jokers’ wrath? Who else but the Divine Can gather wild optimisms Of countless souls and Attach them to strings? Who? The crimson-caped sociopaths Who eviscerate the life-force of the innocent. Or the White Collars Rotting in Federal Penn For dashing the lives of many Against a solid rock of greed and callousness. And the moralists Who clothe themselves in masks of false piety. Who build their palaces on the values they deplore. Who stuff words down Jesus’ crucified corpse. We. We are God if we wish to be. Puppet maker and puppet master. We can choose to cut the strings. Letting our demons and our subjects find their places. We too can show the hand we play. And tumble into the softness of humility.
I was honestly coming in here expecting some "ironic" smug and uninformed remarks, but actually that was quite good.
Wow man that was excellent. Love the choice of words and I love the 2nd to last stanza...so true..so true.
For no amount of the hand that we show could reveal the meaning of our lives. Win or Lose, in boast or in jest or humble acquiescence, the shaping of the waveform of our unbound energy was ever the Point, lost in the infinite and bornless beyond.
Teh-horace had it right, man, that was fucking great. I love how all are included in "we are all god," even the terrible people you listed first, if only they (we) could cut the strings of ego. The ending was perfect, good job man.
