I have seen some really strange topics and things discussed sometimes on this forum. Are you people for real?

Who are you?

Are we playing games?

or what?

never saw such a crew before......

is the computer turning people weird?

or are you aliens from another planet?

I am a stranger in a strange land here.....

 

I think I know who some of you are, but I do not want to be sure, as everytime, I am, you go ahead and turn the tables on me......lol

 

i am the strangest stranger you will ever meet. also the most harmless. at least i try to be the latter. the former just happens.

of course we're playing games. that's what people do when they don't realize they're doing it.

I used to remember who I was....

 

Just like everyone else, I'm a reflection of the universe...

And a very anxious, curious person.

 

I'm pretty just just how I present myself on here.....for better or worse....minus the possible misinterpretation due to it just being typed words with no inflection or whatever.

 

most of my previous lives were on different world from each other, and i'm pretty sure none of them were on this one.

my true identity has nothing to do with what i look like. no one's does really. nor with what my parents of this life named me.

who we are, what we are, if you want to know what i believe that to be really, it is composed primarily of the internal intrinsic individual structure each of us are, created by our preferences.
and thus we can and do alter and evolve it as we go along, yet each time we are born, it gives us a true nature and a continuity with previous lives. something that is beyond the capacity of memory, that does not travel nearly as well, in the absence of physical form, such as of course we lack, between physical lives.

any name i could give you for myself, john teall, themnax of lananara, fingol o garanglas, dreamtoucher/nedtimamim, these are just sounds. they're a label if you want to use one for me. but the true me, that is that complex of preferences by which i am self defined.

That reminds me of an adorable cartoon my mom made and gave to me once....and it was a dot....

I don't think you misunderstood it....It wasa pretty simple direct question with some humor to deflect the crazy bright light of it. It is not an easy question to answer, is it? I would say...I am just me....I don't know what that is...me.....

Are computers turning people weird?

They have opened up new forms of human interaction, and these forums are an example of that. It can be difficult to get a real sense of the people you're communicating with, as all you have is their words. But maybe you can get some idea about some people over time. I've found that seems to be so.

The only way you can get to really know someone is to actually meet them face to face..and even then, it can be difficult.
