who are we?

sorry if theres already a thread like this, i searched but didn't have any luck finding one.

anyway, im bored so i thought it would be cool to ask a few questions....

1. what do you wake up for in the morning?
2. what are you most excited about at the moment?
3. if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
4. do you belive we carry on after death?
5. what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?

ill start with my answers:

1. at the moment... my birthday in a few days. i might be lucky enough to get a van!
2. my birthday, closely followed by stating up an art studio.
3. i would have not wasted so much time in the past year.
4. yes i do
5. we were put here by something/someone as a test, to see if us, the human race, can survive on the earth.

 

1. what do you wake up for in the morning?
To play music and talk to my friends of course.
2. what are you most excited about at the moment?
Playing the bassoon in college... hopefully.
3. if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
That's an obvious one.
4. do you belive we carry on after death?
No.
5. what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?
We weren't. We just exist. Nothing more.

 

1. If I'm up at four in the morning, it means I haven't gone to bed yet.
2. Not being exited.
3. Not to have any sudden changes in my life.

1. what do you wake up for in the morning?
I wake up because I have to. Honestly, if I could, I'd sleep straight through the hellish month I have coming up. In the summer months, though, I wake up for the life that I know surrounds mine. There is nothing like waking up to the sun on your fae and the sounds of birds chirping.

2. what are you most excited about at the moment?
A post-Earth Day celebration my school is celebrating next week. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but the advisor became very ill. Other than that, my best friends' prom tomorrow night. I love people.

3. if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
I'd make things significantly less stressful. I've got pretty bad anxiety, so I'd find a way to lessen my load and still lead a productive life. And make time for enjoying nature.

4. do you belive we carry on after death?
I'm a firm believer in reincarnation.

5. what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?
I have a sort of Creationist view on this (don't run away, please!). I believe that we're put on the Earth to take care of it and all its creatures, like Adam and Eve were.

 

1-. what do you wake up for in the morning?

if not for a hot cup of coffee, then for a change of scenery. (i cant sleep forever, nor do i want to)

2- what are you most excited about at the moment?

i just got my van all set up and am ready to hit the road.

3- if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
absolutly nothing (well, it would be nice to get laid more often i suppose, but i do alright)

4- do you belive we carry on after death?

sure, i believe in reincarnation more or less. though i also believe its possible to carry on imortal conciousness past death, but most wont. (if you can remain concious when falling asleep you can pass into death the same way, without losing conciousness in the void. that is imortality...continuous awarness. otherwise the void will wipe your memory clean. in dreaming and in death.)

5- what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?

i dont nessesarily care if theres a purpose or not beyond my own lessons or growth. whatever it is (if anything) im sure we'll achieve it. though i tend to think our scenerio is left to the perciever to create and shape. if nothing else i think liberation and imortality would be the ultimate acheivement. to win the game, so to speak.

 

1. first, to be thankful for another day. Second, for surf...
2. at this moment, i am so excited that classes end tomorrow
3. nothing - my mantra is to go through life without regrets
4. absolutely - no doubt in my mind
5. nothing but the best we can ascribe to this exisitence.

 

1. There is nothing really that i wake up for. Nothing that makes me want to get up, just that i have to.

2. Next week is going to be awesome. I'm going to a concert and I'm getting my braces off.

3. I guess that i am to shy. i don't really associate with people.

4&5. I don't give that much thought into these kind of topics at this point in my life. I just don't have the interest to believe or look into believing about someone/something/somewhere yet.

1) On weekdays I wake up because I have to. On weekends I wake up because I'd rather enjoy myself than sit around in bed all day. Even if I have a bad day, I'm still experiencing something.

2) Hm...Right now I'm pretty excited for school to be out for the summer.

3) I'd go back and change my attitude during 8th and 9th grade. Ugh. That shit still haunts me to this day... I'm still paying for it. I shouldn't have slacked off so damn much.

4) I'm really not sure... I don't really have any explanations or anything, but yeah, I think we just might.

5) I'm really, really, really not sure.

These are very good questions. I thought of some flippant answers, but now I'm sitting here thinking, what do I wake up for? I guess I wake up to get through a monotonous week in order to wake up on a beautful Saturday morning in a tent somewhere where there's music in the background and the smell of breafast nearby. I love festivals...

Right now, I am SO excited for my wedding! I can't believe I found such a perfect person and then get to call him my husband. That's a special feeling.

There are a couple of things in my life that I wish hadn't happened or had happened differently, but if they hadn't, would I still be who and where I am now? They're not regrets but learning experiences.

No, I don't think we 'carry on' in a sense of souls, heaven and hell, etc. BUT I do think that we are of the earth and we will go back to it, therefore continuing the circle of life.

You don't need to believe in any certain religion to have an opinion about why we are here. Look around! Be nice to other people and try to be a good person. We're here to take care of each other and our surroundings...if at the end of the day, you can say you were happy and made others happy, you've succeeded.

 

1. I wake up to start a brand new day and get as many emotions as I can do.

2. Having a new job. That's really exciting.

3. My luck. These last months I've not been too lucky in many aspects of my life.

Thats a really good question, and I guess Ive never honestly thought about it. Hmm....I think Ill be thinking about that alot now...I love taking questions like this, and then trying to answer them as much as I can in my journal...Ill just write for pages and pages....
But I guess on weekdays I wake up because I gotta get my lazy ass to school, and on weekends its so I can get up and not just lay in bed all day, especially if theres good weather I just wanna get up and go right outside and lay in the grass and paint, with a joint in my mouth.
2. what are you most excited about at the moment?
thats it 420, haha. Party time starts pretty soon!
3. if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
er, I wouldnt change anything about my life, I realize Im really lucky to have experienced all Ive experienced so far in life, Ive really had some amazing times.... I mean, if I had to make a wish, I guess Id say Id like a boyfriend, but that doenst have to do with changing my life.
4. do you belive we carry on after death?
yeah, if pot/shrooms have taught me anything, its definitley that we carry on. unfortunately though, I dont think that we will remember anything from this life though. I think of that feeling you have on shrooms, where youre completely tripped out, stripped of your personality, that feeling where youre just lost in space, floating with the energy....I think THATS what we experience after life...
5. what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?
I dont think we were PUT here, so I think I cant really answer this question. But if your question is, "waht do you believe the point of life is" then id say:
the point of life is to cut past all the bullshit.

1. Right now that would be wish to be with my class for 2 last days before finishing highschool...and to study math for my test ;-)
2. Tomorrow's party, prom night and moving to Belgrade in September
3. I'd go with Pianoperson - I would also want a guy on my own
4. There's no way I could know this, but I try to take the most of this life as it's the only one we have...
5. Don't know, trying to understand it myself....

not sure... i question this all the time. i don't believe in a heaven or hell

My friends, My boyfriend, My mom [so she will stop screaming at me to wake up]. and myself to just see what the day brings

I have five days off of school

3. if you could change one thing about your life what would it be?
the way I live. I wish I could be I dont know more carefree and not worrying over silly stuff. and to take away the bulimia because it hinders me from who I want to be. But all are nothing I cant work on.

no, I am not sure about that.

5. what do you think we were put here on earth to acheive?
completing eachothers lives. being good people. finding people and things that make us happy and fullfilling them until we die. Sounds simple, but thats probably just it. People tend to look past the simple explanations. :H
