who are phish?

am i the only one who has no idea who they are? what is the obsession every seems to have with them about? are they any good?

 

They are a jam band that has grown a strong following. They are really good, in my opinion. Some of their studio albums are kind of boring, but they have really good live shows.

Farmhouse is a pretty song. Look on Rhapsody if you have that program for some good music selections.

good band, they do some good covers. I think they even covered the snoop dogg song "gin & juice"

 

that wasnt them...i have heard this a million times, and although i have never heard the cover, i have heard from everyone that its not them covering it.

 

gin and juice is most definitely not phish

 

why do people still think that?

Depending on which aforementioned song you were refering to, the "Gettin' Jiggy With It" was in '98 (I think), when that song was actually popular. "Lively Up Yourself" was 10+ years ago and they never did "Gin and Juice."

Jay Z did perform with them for one show on their last tour, though, yeah, just not on those songs.

Am I right here?

 

So then.......who was it that cover gin and juice? When I was downloading music the other day, I saw "gin & juice" by phish but then I remember someone saying to me it wasnt really them.

phish is not only a music group...its a lifestyle!! they are totaly amazing and have many different sounds. some blues, rock and even barberstyle quartet. definitely check the out on nugs.net and livephish.com. u will be glad u did!!

 

If I have ever known true love, it has been Phish and the Phish community. Does that give you a good idea?
