The seed pods on the tops of a couple of my colas are white and the leaves yellow.I read photosynthesis can stop above 85 degrees so I have lowered temp to below 80. Has anybody come across white buds before. Plants are healthy just confused as to what is causing it. Obviously the two pistals are white but baffled as to why some of the pods are turning white.

Could be a calcium or boron problem. Look at your roots. Are the tips dying back? If you are budding, avoid the trap of apply potassium on the soil. Only foliarly. Put on a calcium source on the soil along with a small (tiny quantity) of boron. Are your older leaves showing interveinal chlorosis (dark veins, yellow between the veins)?
